This is a depth signing. Abramovich has signed it seems dozens of these 8-15 million dollar players in his tenure. Moses is a strong build player who can player up top or outwide. He is a different type of player than Marin, who is expected to be on the bench. Marin is a playmaker while Moses is more of a bruiser and strong player. And unlike Lukaku, he isn't demaning first team action. I don't see how Moses "takes up a spot." Malouda, Benayoun are likely gone, and De Bruyne, Lukaku and McEachran are going out on loan. Oscar, Hazard, Marin, Mata, Moses, Torres and Sturridge are your guys for that 3-1 formation up top. Lampard, Essien, Ramires, Obi Mikel and Romeu are going to be in the 2 holding spots. Then Meireles is on the outs. Now if they bring in Cavani, Hulk or Schurrle, then different story.

I wonder what Meireles is valued at. I would say probably in the 7-9 million pound range.

Supposedly offered Raule Meireles plus 24 million for Cavani. Total value is around 30-33 million depending on Meireles valuation.

Wouldn't mind Moura with Oscar in the future. Maybe sign Neymar and Hulk, have most of the Brazilian national team lol.

New here, just looking for further details on some of the summer's new youth signings. Are the Musonda trio officially Chelsea property? Also saw we signed George Brady from AS Cannes, but never saw anything official on ChelseaFC.com Any other youth signings or goings as well? I know Rhys Taylor and Marko Mitrovic left on free transfer.
