Let me be more serious ... Because of this comment I respect and understand you more. I mean it when I say your posts tell a lot about you. And it is meant positive. It is not necessary to project hate to more fortunate ones. It is natural but uncalled or. It is not our own doing to be in a context of misfortune nor is it to be born gifted or hyped because of it. If ever we could smoke a peace pipe on here .... I would welcome it, Santiago. Ps: do NOT think this a comment made out of weakness.

I had the strangest thought today in a traffic jam. I thought: how is Leifs shits these days? I truly, really asked myself this question, dude ....
-
Thank you for the insult. You proved your worth.
-
Nothing. It is meant as a general comment to the common denominator of your posts. That is my prerogative on this forum as it is yours to bitch

Congratulations. Your bitterness does ooze throughout every post you make about the overpaid footballers. Be it Torres, Hazard, every one you feel earns too much (or more than you perhaps? Google 'social comparison theory' for some more info.... ) Does this mean I myself don't care about the hardships of the true unfortunates in ths world? Hell no, I believe it is our duty to actively contribute, which I do in every way I can. I just don't bitch about it on a forum. I do it in acts. To me, your hardliner way of posting says a lot more about your person than you can think. I have no hard feelings towards you whatsoever, but you seem to lack empathy. I am sorry.

Well, this guy shows every sign of a clinical depression. This is NOT because he is weak, lazy, overpaid, etc. Quite the contrary, being so heavily paid and bearing the burden of his transfer fee can cause this kind of state, especially if you can count in the injuries at the time of the transfer here and the media pressure. Btw, research clearly indicates that 'pay per performance' or bonuses are the worst motivator and have the opposite effect on performance. I do want to debate this, but only on evidence based research. I do NOT think he is weak, but he probably has personality characteristics that make him prone for depression. Weakness has nothing to do with it. If you want evidence for this, I will back this statement up with hard data. Thinking depression is for the weak is an ideological conclusion, not factual. Ps: one of the results of a true clinical depression is a strong decline in performance. Combine this with the very high standards his transfer has set + his loss of pace. This all resultsin an inevitable increase in 'depression' resulting in even worse performances. It is a spiral that is very hard to get out of. Some drugs work - but then again are not allowed for sporters ... Catch 22 to the max , it seems. I feel sorry for Torres. I really do, even though I have wished him to hell myself for letting us down. I think it is unwise policy that made us hate him. Torres himself, I see as a sad spectator in his own bad show. If I were his shrink, i'd tell him to bail. Go back to Madrid for a small fee with low wages (to mnimize the expectncy level) and he might be a good(not great - injuries remember) player again. My 2 cents!

I really wonder about Torres. I have been for a while actually.
-
I think thats the breakfast you feel, mate :-)

Such misfirings can only happen in a Torres thread!!

Omg .... Lamps is Al Qaida and involved in 9/11 as well?

There, fixed the post for you :-)
-
He seems to be really pushing it in the media to get clarity about his future :-) cant blaim him tbh.
-
You and me both :-)
-
I never heard that in this debate. It plays a role but there is more. Why do you persist in this? We need a manager that can steer and motivate like the best....
-
There is a thing called 'long term' conclusions. It matters in this topic. Ps: i hope your business flourishes.
-
No. Its THE option. Period.

I have a question for my Czech friends on here: My wife and I are planning a vacation in Czechia. How is the weather there Around the end of July-beginning of August? You know, temperature and how much rain/sun can we expect (I got small kids and down't want a region that has too much chance of rain). Also, what is the nicest region (nature, villages, stuff to see without being in the big cities)? All help truly appreciated!
