What a game, really impressed with everyone's performance tonight. Schurrle showed why we bought him, our backline was immense, particularly Ashley and Luiz, Hazard was brilliant, Oscar and Lampard were tireless, aside from the pen Lukaku did everything right and Torres didn't look like a complete waste of space and even scored. Cech for me is the best keeper in the world, some incredible saves tonight. A little disappointed in Ramirez as it wasn't a challenge he had to make but I thought it was always a risk with him on a card with the ref handing them out so readily. Heartbreaking finish but being down to 10 and given our performance at the last super cup and that Bayern were supposed to walk all over us its a good result in the end. Feeling confident going into the Champions League and big matches in the future especially as this team gels.

Don't know why both managers couldn't have just agreed to settle for a draw at the beginning and saved me 90 minutes.

Very comfortable game throughout, started with a crazy tempo and then eased off for the second half. Was expecting Hull to come out more in the 2nd but they seemed to be perfectly content with a loss and you can't counter if the other side never attack.

He hit it so high I thought it was going out but it just dropped right at eden's feet, amazing

Seriously did Cech touch the ball, I didn't start looking for a touch by him until the last 25 minutes, he hasn't had a save and hull only had two shots off target, was there a goal kick?

Has Cech got a touch? Enjoying reading redcafe at the moment, apparently the keeper should have done better on lampard's goal, wonder what the excuses will be next week?

I have him on the premier league fantasy team as he is too cheap to pass up, the problem is since you only get 3 from each team and Juan and Eden are must haves that only leaves one other spot and I'd kind of like to have Azpi in there as well, I'll see how it goes for the first few games. Does anyone know if Mata will be fit for Hull.

Though I was happy to see wigan win the cup I kind of wish united were playing city, wigan's long ball and pumping crosses into the box is too easy for vidic and ferdinand to defend. Never really looked like troubling them though they had some good possession.

I'm trying so hard not too read too much into united's preseason results, it feels like one of those games where they go a goal down and you think there going to drop points but then they get a penalty and an own goal and come away with all the points. I've always thought they had so many average players in their squad and yet somehow Ferguson would make it work. If we nick Rooney off them they will be very lacking in quality, plus the meltdown on redcafe would be glorious, there's practically a civil war going on over there as it is.

I'm kind of walking into the middle of this conversation but while I'm here I'll contribute. I feel like walking in the park would put a lot of pressure on you to carry a conversation since there's not much else going on and if you already went to dinner you may have run out of things to talk about. If the girl is talkative like SinineUltra said it might go alright but if she's shy it could be awkward or at least it would be for me. A movie seems like a good idea, everybody likes movies.
