did i ever say we were close to sign Suarez? and we may seem close to signing Rooney but its just not going to happen! United are alot of things but stupid is one thing they are not!

I also said i don't know why we are wasting out time with Rooney, maybe i didn't word it great, but i have explained what i meant by it, and i have had one person say to me that i said our season rests on signing Suarez and another say that i said not signing Suarez would ruin our season which i never said and certainly don't think at all. What i do think is wasting our time on Rooney and not signing him and then ending up with no new striker will not be a great scenario and unfortunately but that looks like what is going to happen.

Ok i will give you one last chance to show me where i said not signing Suarez would ruin our season. Because as i said previously i think we will win the league with what we have got now! in fact i think we will win the league comfortably with what we have now. And in that quote i was making the point if we waste our time with Rooney and he stays and we end up with no one that will hurt us, not ruin our season! i used Suarez as an example of someone we should sign instead of Rooney as this is the Suarez thread! and he looks to be available, if Ibra was available i would have used him as and example instead. The thing that will cost us is wasting time on someone (Rooney) who we wont end up signing in the end and gambling on getting Rooney instead of looking at other options So again please who me where i said anything about not signing Suarez would ruin our season! please show me.

I agree Suarez has some mental issues i have said that in the past, I would never want Suarez here if Ivanovic had not forgiven him for what he done, but he has, so i can look beyond that and see that Suarez is a World Class striker and would improve our team.

That is what i said in my previous post if you read it you would have seen that. So your basing the fact that Rooney has learned from his previous mistake based on last season? last season when Rooney was playing second fiddle to RVP and feeling all down and depressed about it! of course he wasn't going to do anything stupid in that position, put him back in a position of power again where he feels untouchable in the team as the main man again and you will see him acting like his same old self again!

The exact reason why people want Rooney here so bad is because he said he wants to come to Chelsea! if Rooney comes out today and says i dont want to sign for Chelsea everyone will be jumping on the Suarez bandwagon! Fact! And for me a supporter who goes to games finds it way more c***ish for a opposition player to celebrate in front of you! and for a player to always be around the ref in his ear trying to get the players you support sent off! Exactly it makes me laugh the amount of people on here who say Suarez is a **** but want us to sign Rooney??? It ridiculous! WOW some people are really overrating Wilshere! he really is nothing special at all! he is a decent player, but no where near word class, i dont think he will ever be world class tbh, he is a good passer not great, he isnt good at taking players on and he cant finish! i dont see the hype that surrounds Wilshere! of course he is English so he will get hype, but he is nothing special at all!

I cant believe we are wasting our time with Rooney when we could just bid £40,000,002 - £45 Million and get this guy who is a true World Class Striker! I don't know why Jose is so obsessed with Rooney! in the end its going to cost us this season if the club don't wake up and bring in Suarez!!!

I don't think anyone is judging him just on pre-season, if you saw him last season in the Bundesliga and for Belgium in the WC qualifiers you would know just how good he is! I don't talk up players based on a few performances in pre-season and i doubt many people do, but with KdB there is no doubt in my mind that he will be a superstar and he will show that this season! he will take a lot of people by surprise next season as well as he wasn't bought for a massive price tag and doesn't have a big reputation this will help him hit the ground running from the first game of the season onwards! I bet Hull will be preparing right now how to try to think of ways to stop Mata, Hazard and Oscar and wont give much thought about KdB, but when they see KdB name on the team sheet and see him rip their team to shreds then they will know about him and so will the rest of the PL! He is a serious talent! I am more excited about KdB this season than any other player because i have seen what he is capable of, and he performs consistently good week in week out like Mata, he will be a key player for us this season and i just cant wait till the people who don't know yet realises just how good he is.
