I'd make a bet that mourinho would probably shed a tear out of the pure emotion.It would be cool if both madrid fans and chelsea fans chanted "JOSE MOURINHO!" at the same time. Shame that we didnt try to set up a pre season friendly with chelsea, im tired of playing with ac milan, i dont like them, ( we are playing them in pre season ).

Zidane is an all time great, but he ranks differently, he certainly is one of the greatest midfielders ever though. Modern enough for me to say that as well. Overall i think that all the greats in football are just that, GREATS, LEGENDS, but footballers keep getting better and better. I'd make a bet pele wouldnt catch up to cr7 nowadays, atleast a carbon copy of pele anyways.Those players had natural ability though, in a hypothetical way i wonder how the past greats would adapt now. Sneijder had a good part in the world cup but what i am trying to get that is that some over rate his part in it. Messi rocked the champions league and la liga as the pichichi (or actually i think it was forlan who was la liga pichichi(., and just barely lost out on champions league trophy due to a COLLECTIVE effort from inter milan. As i said before, there's a great case for sneijder deserving to win it, but messi is also deserving.

Lol the economy in spain is not in a great spot right now, to some its actually a shock to see how madrid and barcelona are dealing with so much money, ( thats where the unequal/unfair tv revenue money controversy comes in).La Liga striked for the first week last season because of it. There are literally proffesional footballers from teams like malaga or zaragoza who at times havent been payed.

Yah, it's a tendency, that's why young guys like mario gotze still dont wanna move, his decision is understandable, as he is in a great position with dortmund though.Bayern Munich is a difficult club to deal with though, they are difficult to sell, and are meticulous with the media when they buy. Their sporting director nearly ridiculed ozil,sahin,khedira among others when press and media asked him about how those players would do in bayern.

Bayern Munich don't sell their german superstars. It's an almost impossibility. There are other options.

Sure i would have liked to see him play for us because he's a great winger, but i can say that about many players, i wish messi, lahm, schweinsteiger, all played for us, because they could improve our team but that doesnt mean they are realistic rumors or that im gonna get frustrated because we dont have them.Hazard is a great player but mourinho didn't find him necessary to our team's needs at the moment, or else he would have told madrid to engage in transfer talk. Hazard is a great player, and he plays for chelsea, that's that.

Lol greedy is our middle name I hope to see both sahin and granero play at a high level next year for us, if granero feels like leaving then it would be great to see him at chelsea. I feel they both stay here for the mean while.

Lol sahin was injured until november. He was given chances in which he did average-good from mid november - early january.Mourinho has this thing where once january comes he kinda gets a group of players and sticks with them, he could have used sahin more during january-march but he didnt. If granero hadn't really showed good form during january- april then maybe sahin would have gotten more time, but his clock ran out when jose makes his decisions. Worldwide headlines were made on granero and how people were tagging him as underated, not saying granero rocked the world, but that he kind beat out sahin for several reasons. Then sahin came out more during march-may played in cl, and jose mourinho and team mates, and karanka have always reiterated how they are backing up sahin, remind all that he was signed for 5 seasons not 1. He has 12/13 to show his worth, he will be fresh, motivated, good as new. Plus he playes like 4 games with turkey in summer, 6 in pre season. He can do it. Granero could go somewhere but i dont see him going to chelsea or moving out in the first place. Not yet.

Lol theres no such thing as destiny buddy atleast in the context you are implying it as, jokingly or seriously Arbeloa did well against bayern munich and barcelona and pretty much any big tag opponent over the season, it was against the "lesser" teams in which he looked like crap, specially when di maria was out injured because di maria provides extensive defensive cover and help, in part because the midfield tends to get a bit overrun at times. Hence the need for a new real deal Midfielder. There arent any real deal right backs out there. Best options are among debuchy, and maicon. Debuchy could be a possibility he has a good record defensively and attacking wise as an rb, and maicon could provide experience, and would be a good buy for no more than around 8 mil euros, since inter are apparently after debuchy, so who knows around that paradox. Ramos can play rb but we all know he's better at cb, varane which is a wonder kid could then fit in cb but id rather not go that way. In his best pepe is a top cb with a couple of liabilities, varane and ramos are the future, but pepe needs to clean his act, i just wish he could dissapear and we slot in someone better but oh well. Marcelo offers things coentrao can't as much, specially in attack, i'd like to see more of fabio in rb maybe during pre season, defensively he assures more than marcelo, i hope marcelo works on that. I'd keep marcelo on the starting birth as long as he justifies his prescense there, which he did for most of the season, believe it or not i believe we have the best lb selections in the world, not saying that they are the number 1 per say, but the selection of both is just tasty. Theres no great rb options, the ones that are good, im sure mou will go over if he finds nesecary. Athletic are gonna make it harder for madrid to sell martinez but if we really want him, we will get him. We have the money and history. No club could beat us to him, barca rumors on him are dwindled by the fact that they want thiago silva, and they already have busquets. If martinez is open minded to leave i think he can come here. Mou will most likely look at kaka replacement, midfield addition, and rb selection.

I think you would make a good decision by becoming a athletic bilbao fan leif. Valencia and athletico madrid have not much substance to them imo. Bilbao uses youth to a big extent, and has a fantastic stadium and fans. They could have a bright future ahead of them.

Torres still has chance to shine greatly with chelsea. Euro cup will be important for him.

The home kit is very nice, condidering buying a chelsea shirt for a long time, almost bought a deco shirt from the past last year but it was large, and fit me horribly.

Ya Overall they really like to emphasize on basque players, and the such, the spanish have done a good job at creating homegrown talent.Real Madrid for example has been home to players like Casillas,Arbeloa,Callejon,Granero,Juan Mata, Roberto Soldado, Borja Valero, Dani Parejo, Javi Garcia, etc, but werent given great chances with the team because of management issues that are hopefully being corrected ( madrid is putting GREAT emphasis in its current super castilla team of Jese Rodriguez, Morata, Alex Fernandez, Carvajal, Sarabia). A big part of the bilbao squad isnt home grown atheltic thought, some come from zaragoza and real sociedad among other places close to basque country. I simply like chelsea, like i stated above i have no real anger against barca, but i do against its officials, players, fans, so there might not be difference I enjoyed watching chelsea bury barcelona this year, they are barca's thorn in europe in a way ( chelsea should have won in 09 ).

Seems like alot of people are taking Pep's transfer to chelsea as a very clear possibility but im not too sure there's any type of evidence other than random speculation to point to that. He has his own brand of football, and i'm sure that someone as bright as him would most likely develop something good enough for chelsea to play with. I think guardiola will take a sabbatical if the reasons for leaving barca are accurate. The man is tired after the stress it takes to be a manager in a team like barcelona. Things are different there, and i personally dont see him coming to chelsea in 12/13. When and if he returns to managing, i doubt he will go all too quickly back to barca, but if his relationship with the president and staff is as good as it seems there should be no problem. There's quite a realistic hypothetical possibility of him joining chelsea and i'm sure he'd do a good job.

Well hutcho you'd be asking for one hell of a buy that just isnt available in the transfer market. Have you guys looked at debuchy? http://en.wikipedia....Mathieu_Debuchy ? He's a good defensive and attacking fullback, but is about only one year younger than ivanovic, and might prove a bit un-needed of a buy from chelsea, but still one of the finest possibilities. I don't recommend that you guys get tangled over the ideas of van der wiel, and etc, not as good as some people might think. I think that overall ivanovic is good enough to hold his own right? Real madrid is in search of a new possible rb, and theres no one that really shines out, out there, atleast for our mentality which encompases different guidelines lol. I think that it's no biggy if ivanovic is rb, but i should watch chelsea more, im sure many will differ for their own reasons on my opinion.

Hello, and thanks.I see that people are seeing us as favorites, with a good midfield purchase i'll agree with that. I understand the Madrid-Barca domination issue that many have, but many that see la liga see it just for those two, hence they get some good views around the world. Oh well it's a shame for the guys who arent fans of either, and want to see some competition out of the top two, but, guess youd have to adapt and just enjoy the actual football.

Hazard is a great signing, i would have liked to see him in madrid, but it wasn't gonna happen, no interest from madrid, and just isnt the buy mourinho needs. To reply to terminator x, i personally think that a team has no reason to retire a shirt( well there are valid reasons, but for legend's sake i dont think so), they have the right to continue the tradition, and hopefully hazard, if given the 11 has success with the blues. The Sneijder case might have a case for it self, but in the end ( atleast i see it this way) a player should be given the title considering how well he helped his team in the big moments, how well his team did, how well he did overall, and etc.I think that messi is a better player than cr7, id rather have messi in my team if ultimatley given the ultimatum, but you shouldnt judge a balon d'or like that, i wouldnt. I'd judge it by their season. Sneijder deserved it in 09/10, ronaldo deserves it for this season. Other than the thrashing that messi gave to that anti football team known as leverkusen i didnt see him impressing me in the cl. Barca didnt impress any time in the season really. Cr7 took his game and his team to high heights in la liga and the cl, and if he does well in the euro it will only get better for his case. Messi won a copa del rey, Ronaldo won a La Liga trophy. All the other trophies that were won by barca were out of successes from the past year. Ronaldo deserves it in my opinion. Although a case for messi might be made in 09/10 considering that many do tend to overate sneijder's performance in the world cup and messi was better than sneijder in la liga, and cl up to the semi final. Messi beat sneijder fair and square to a certain degree in 09/10, its like a 55/45 for me for that season.

I personally think that he probably is the greatest player up to this point. What he does with the ball, no body else in history has been capable to do so. And he is better than all of the legends like Pele, Maradona, Di Stefano, Puskas, because he is modern, he outpaces them in every way. Main reason that many tag it as unfair to compare different eras is because of the different guidelines, but the newer gets better in a certain context, messi has scored almost 70 goals the past season, he is for me the best player i've seen. Considering many contexts anyways. No one has the numbers, or abilities that he has. Cr7 is a different kind of player, but id still rather have him on a modern team than di stefano or pele, because of different eras. Like in tennis, there are guys like borg who historically speaking are mindfudging good, but when he tried to comeback in the 90's he got owned. You can only compare history, at a certain point. Id digg more into it though, i wonder just how well di stefano or pele or maradona would adapt to the modern game. Messi still outclasses them though. I think i make my point clear, as time passes the footballer gets better considering an overall perspective. Madrid 1955-1960 would get thrashed by modern day madrid.

Hello, there as the official Real Madrid ambassador here ( only rm fan here i assume ), i felt like making a thread where i post general info about madrid incase anyone is interested. I see there's a La Liga thread but meh, this is the OFFICIAL RM thread 11/12 Season Review: Our season was great but ultimately disappointing in many aspects. If we would have won the penalties against bayern then ( no offense to chelsea fans) i think that our players would have beaten chelsea, and won la decima. La liga was phenomenal, and we barely lost the copa del rey. Our team is a very complete one in several ways. Out during 12/13 transfer window: Lass, Altintop, Carvalho, Maybe Adan in : Javi Martinez, Maybe New back up GK, and just maybe another experienced rb like maicon, or maybe even debuchy. Ramos can play there, arbeloa can play there, coentrao can do the job in emergencies, and we might even promote our castilla wonderkid, Daniel Carjaval. Kaka is a cancer to our side, we give him 10 million euros a year to under perform a prohibit us from getting a better back up to Di Maria/Ozil. Lucas Moura is not ready to come, maybe next year. I do think that by 2013 we either get lucas, or 2014 we get neymar or gotze. My ideal starting 11 for 12/13 is Casillas Arbeloa Ramos Pepe Marcelo Alonso Martinez Di Maria Ozil Ronaldo Benzema Subs: Higuain Varane Kaka Sahin ( Expect him to show the world his true potential) Callejon Coentrao Carjaval (MAYBE) Granero Albiol I think that mou will definatley go for some midfield help in the transfer window, because khedira is not enough. Don't worry about him leaving, he has no reason to. Just signed with real madrid till 2016, and even by then most of our key players will be at the same age that most of the key barca players were when they started their mega run ( 08-09 ). Royston Drenthe Flopped completely in the sense that he simply gave us no reason to keep him. He didn't show us any reason to keep him, didnt give us anything of note, marcelo did turn into that attacking lb we wanted, drenthe turned into nothing else but..nothing. The last picture of him was a karate kick he gave to a los angeles galaxy player in the 10/11 pre season, drenthe sucks, simply put lol sorry for being a bit bleak there. Now we have coentrao as our backup lb, and i wouldnt be surprised if mourinho has maybe thought of coentrao as possible rb option, even though coentrao hasnt impressed when played at rb. Not bad but not as good as lb ( cant cut in, etc).

Personally i've never cared much for that "myth". Its just a way of looking at things from people who i like to consider as narrow minded. Mourinho is a pretty complete manager and coach who can get most things going, those who branded and attacked his football have been premature, in my opinion mourinho is as good of a coach as one can get in various aspects.You should go to wikipedia and check out his stats, specially with madrid, simply breathtaking as a manager. Most goals and points scored in la liga history, and best record in cl over two seasons is a good thing, here in madrid we have a young squad and we have mou till 2016 ( sry no swap ), i expect cl trophies for us with him. lol at avram

My club will forever be Real Madrid, but i want to have fun with chelsea too. And no i don't think there something wrong with being an actual bandwagoner, from my open minded perspective anyways. Lol at your friend, tottenham got owned by chelsea in the cl final, and we destroyed records as a team in la liga ( best league win in european history arguably).
