Hiddink is better than benitez and would at least unite everyone involved in the club again. And it was only 21 games but we still have a strong team. Hazard mata and Ba has to be one of the best attacking 3 you can have in the league and our defence isn't as bad as most when we get JT back and get the defence settled. And International manager/Domestic manager, its still football and i would welcome him back with open arms.

Hiddink would be great but there is a next to 0 chance... The only great manager we have had recently who hasn't technically been fired as he came in on a temporary basis, done extremely well and went back to his international job.

Zola would be the worst managerial appointment we could make up there with JT himself... When the inevitble bad run happens and he gets fired the backlash would be huge and most likely greater than when RDM was fired. If we are going down the younger route i would rather it be someone like laudrup who is a good manager but wouldn't be too attached to the club and the fans wouldn't be too attached to him.

Why do you hate oscar so much... He is only 21 has a lot of potential and has players ahead of him so isn't starting regularly yet. And "chelsea is too big for him"... If that is true, so are half of the players we have on our team. Its also his first season in the prem. Not everyone can light it up right away. Saying he needs to go back to a shit championship and chelsea is too big to a 21 year old is crazy...

I think we should benefit from the fact that arsenal won't sit back like recent teams we haven't beaten at home, which should provide a lot more space for ba and hazard etc to work in. So i expect to see a completely different sort of game, which is more open and that will play into our hands so we should be able to get the win, but atm you cannot be extremely confident with us and our inconsistency.

He is not exactly great at RW. He is ok imo but lampard and rambo isn't a good partnership.... Rambo and luiz or lamps and luiz... Lamps and luiz for me against arsenal.

Wow, so when lampard plays well, there is a lot of people (minority but still quite a lot) saying its only an occasional game, he wasn't that good, yet when the team doesn't win, then it is evidence that he cannot cut it any more... Seriously? I would give lampard a 2 year deal without a second thought, and i would do it instantly. If that happenned there would be no signing this year i would be more happy of witnessing. And for someine who doesn't play in his favourite position he has done pretty darn well this season. Lampard and rambo isn't a great pivot parnership and he needs to play with someone like luiz or mikel to be more effective.

I do and the answer is 100% yes... Walcott is faster than any defender we have, so if its a flat out footrace is doesn't matter who we have really. Also JT, gives us so much more. I find it hard to believe we would have squandered a 2 goal lead vs southampton with JT in defence. He also boosts the players is a real leader and will help the crowd get pumped up, and dominate giroud or any arial threat they may want to pose.

I don't know about this game... We are a better team than them, but playing pretty badly at home. Not losing is crucial imo, and it would be great to get win... Arsenal will be feeling very optimistic and a win gets them right close behind us with a game in hand. Hopefully we can scrape through with a win as man for man we are better than them across the pitch. Having a night to think about it now the problems for me came down to: Attitude in the second half as we seemed complacent Benitez made 1 change which saw him take off a great chance of scoring for torres. Ok he and marin are our only attacking options on the bench but if you have to put them on there are better ways of doing it. Southampton made 3 changes, we made 1. Even if its just switching out our defence to get some fresh more experienced legs on there it may as well happen. Squad depth Missed Chances, if i remember correctly there were 18 chances 3 on target. Wateful in the final third. Would really like to see KDB come back here as he has been playing great on loan and would provide a great option in a playmaker role, which we are especially short, as rely on lampard, ramires, and luiz atm.

I want him out, but who are we gonna bring in right away... I can't think of many top quality names that would be available right now... Pep isn't coming in the summer. Jose is unlikely. I would like Klopp or loew tbh but their chance is better in the summer.
