Of course, why would they make this remotely easy for us?

I am worried as well about the future when Guus leaves (and he will) but i don't think it means we will destroy ourselves. There are some coaches who would keep us around the top, imo. We have talent & money to compete for the forseeable future

Whatever Guus did, thank you Well, I think it is obvious Guus came in and put his foot down fitness wise. I think that has really helped us down the stretch

I am curious to see if we really are interested in Villa or not. I agree with those that he would be a great talent for us but I am not 100% sure he really fits with us next year and he will be a LOT of money

One thing that drives me nuts is every so often I read an article stating something different "He is possibly staying!" then "He is without doubt leaving" Arggghhh, I know chances are good of him leaving But still, I wish we could keep him on board. Some of the replacements scare me a bit

I think that is my question. Is he REALLY that needed? To the point of a extension which may cost us? As others have said, maybe Guus sees something he doesn't like as a starter that we don't Then again, if Guus leaves, maybe the new coach will see something he likes He has talent and can be a force
