I don't get you guys at all... On one hand you call Christensen, Franz Beckenbauer 2.0, the guy who should be given every chance to succeed. Then on the other you want Chelsea to spend 60m on Van Dijk who will most assuredly block Christensen and likely make him expendable. This is a depth signing with the potential to put pressure on some of our older players. People look at the amount and think automatic starter, I don't, I see squad player who can fill in for cup games and midweeks at a few positions. Decent signing for 30ishM

He will def push Cahill who, lets be honest, isn't the greatest. Word is we are looking for two CB's one stud and another to replace Ake in the depth chart. I assume Ake's replacement is potentially Rudiger, Terry's replacement is gonna be Van Dijk (or someone of that ilk) Christensen could very well be our RWB sub.

People are acting as if this guy walks right into our starting XI... LOL He's a high level squad player capable of covering multiple positions. Without knowing what we will pay its hard to really get disappointed about it, he is young and will only get better.

I'm not gonna pretend to know more than Conte or the scouts but this one is baffling... I mean he can play on the left and right side and is comfortable in wide areas but this just looks strange when you think of who we have in the system. He does seem to use the ball better than Zouma and has better anticipation but he's not miles clear

I'm starting to think Christensen will be our backup RWB
