No my dad works here. Somehow, I too feel the Germans were partially responsible for Greece downfall. German banks kept landing them money while they pretty well knew the Greeks weren´t capable to re-pay it. Meanwhile, the ouzo drinkers doctored documents & life was peachy in Greece.

There is no one to blame but Cyprus politicians who allowed to reach this level. As I said, an offshore heaven for hiding money, nothing more, nothing less.

Many EU countries were asking to reveal the source, companies that deposited money in Cyprus. Your government refused. Now, why should EU´s money support laundering schemes ?

i posted it as Cyprus being part of Russia cos so much money are in Cyprus banks. That´ s the fact. Russians even gave you a loan before. Now, you are asking for restructuring it. Putin was already contacted. Cyprus chose to hide dubious money. EU does not like it. Therefore, conditions on the loan were applied. Everyone is waiting what´s gonna happen. Your government chose not to tax deposited money in your banks. Fine. No tax = no loan. What´s the alternative for Cyprus ? Russia & Russia only. Otherwise, within a week Cyprus is bankrupted.

Since Neymar pals are playing for Chelsea, there is a good chance he might sign for the Blues. He is very well known & marketable chap, I feel. He could easily be compared to any other footballer in selling merchandise with his name on it. For Chelsea to show up anywhere with him in the line-up tickets are sold within hours, I feel. One of these days he will be as big as Messi, Ronaldo, Beckham, Woods, I feel.

Anyone who watches EPL weekly will know of Neymar, I am certain. Just ask around. Many fans even causal ones know plenty about Brazil. Therefore, they must know Neymar.

Partially true but those samba boys are quite bouncy too. Many times, we had seen Ramires being knocked down to get up & fight again. I also would like to see another bigger player in the midfield. Felliani, for example.

Well, since Russians have between 12-35 billions there, no one even know how much, tomorrow Cyprus minister is flying to Russia to restructure their loan. Russians are not dumb enough to allow some dimwit from Brussels to tax their billions. By the way, Cyprus is so entwined with Russia, some say it´s like another republic of Russia.

For the little guy, it´s not fair, I feel. However, there are plenty of big fish who stored their money in Cyprus. As for Russian loans. Cyprus stored plenty of money for many Russian businesses & never asked about the source. Currently, EU sees a chance to get their hands on it. Deposits below 100 thou are hit with just a 3 % tax. People like your ex-teacher why did he deposit his money in Cyprus, then ?

May I ? Money are deposited in the Cyprus banks. Plenty of dubious background. Many countries are complaining about it. Currently, Cyprus needs to borrow from EU. Therefore, part of the deal is tax people´s savings in those banks.

Falcao just might have reached his peak & at 52m his re-sale value is zilch in 2-3 years. Recently, Chelsea have done a tremendous job with young, talented players. Just keep going, buy young & not 28-29 year old players.

Neymar will not score as many as Ronaldo or Messi but certainly he has the potential to be as valuable as them two.

Cavani for 60m, Falcao for 52m forget both of them but buy Neymar, I feel. If Chelsea have to buy anyone, it´s him for 50-55m. Neymar is 21, not proven though, but this risk just might pay off hugely here. Falcao, Cavani have already peaked while Neymar in 4-5 years will have a re-sale value of double. Neymar on the left, Hazard on the right, Mata & Oscar by the way his pal, in the middle, Chelsea are just one great show that has not been seen for decades. Just add Isco for 35m & I am going nuts.

Why should anyone be outrage over it ? Plenty of rich people are hiding their money there. Recently, Russian crooks were complaining about it too. Cyprus is home to billions of roubles worth of deposits that has evaded international money laundering regulations.
