You could say the same for every other player and unlike some, at least we know Hazard has not gone completely useless.

Can't believe we managed to keep a clean sheet in that first half.

Mikel at CB, again! Our most youthful bench ever!
-
Our defence has not been great but now that Ivanovic is out along with the Terry, we could be in for a really really really long night.

Would be interesting to then hear what Mourinho says about the Europa League, considering he's never been shy to bash the competition in the past.

This. Peak Van Gaal really.

3 shots in the entire game from United. THREE shots. That's absolutely fucking appalling! It's almost as if United are paying tribute to Mourinho of some sort given his teams, at their worst, can barely muster a shot in the whole game!

They do but winning 2 trophies in a decade is pathetic for a 'big club' like Arsenal. Still doesn't change the fact that Wenger has failed massively in the last 11 years.

Where's that 3-1 win under Hiddink? That was such a glorious night, which was followed up with the mad 4-4 draw!

With the money that's coming in from the new TV deal, the Champions League one is nothing. Sure, qualifying for that competition and the attraction it brings is big for players but players aren't stupid either. They aren't just going to join a club because they're in the Champions League. They will also consider other factors. And yes, not being in the Champions League will hurt us in attracting top players but it's not a complete disaster and if we show the right ambition and desire to get back to the top, players will still come. There's only so many players a club can fit in. Maybe your expectations are different but to me, it's pointless if you qualify for the Champions League for 20 straight seasons but aren't competitive at all. It's like you're just happy at being there and don't have desire to push on further. It's one of the reasons why Arsenal fans have grown fed up of Wenger.

Finishing in the top 4 and qualifying for the Champions League is nice but if you aren't going to be competitive in it, then what's the point of getting into the competition for 20 straight seasons? Wenger's record has been atrocious in that time - 2 semi finals and 1 final in 20 years. And that's without mentioning the fact that they have been knocked in the last 16 in each of the last six season. I'm also not sure why have people taken Mourinho's 'Specialist in Failure' comment out of context. Sure, he has failed miserably this season and made himself look like a fool with the statement (one that was made 2 years ago!) but the point of that was Wenger barely wins trophies these days. He's barely come close to winning the league in the last decade or the Champions League in the last 2 decades and his constant excuse about how other clubs have bigger spending power is stupid especially when we've seen what the likes of Leicester, Spurs, Dortmund, Atletico etc have done.

Like finishing second or third is going to make any difference. The Arsenal board are just happy that Wenger is making profit for them every season.

We're playing Liverpool and I don't even feel excited about it.

Desperately want United to finish in the top four now so that Guardiola will manage in the Europa League and United will keep Van Gaal. Double win.

It's The Sun for goodness sake!

Expecting us to get battered in this game. Could be even worse than what we saw in this same fixture in 2011/12.
-
Just like the Man City game, called the result right again. Now that we have ended Spurs and Newcastle (not forgetting Benitez - ), can we get back to winning ways in the final two games or is that too much to ask?!

Why do people so much into what formation is Conte going to play? If people have done their homework on Conte, they should know that he's flexible when it comes to the formation. He finds the best one that fits the players available at his disposal and is not one of those managers who force players to fit into a formation that doesn't suit them. Moreover, he can also change formation depending on the situation/match and won't go into every match by blindly playing the same formation.

I've watched it like a thousand times.
