  1. We have not picked up a single point from losing position in the league this season. NOT ONE!
  2. We have had a history of starting the season well and then completely falling away from November onward (or a tad later). 2010/11, 2012/13, 2017/18 seasons all come to mind. And this term has been no different either.
  3. Not excusing the recent losses but the funny thing is we exceeded expectations earlier this season - and arguably even raised them - by winning matches, going on that 7-game winning streak etc. Now, we're at the point where most of us had expected us to be in, struggling for performances and results.
  4. CHO hasn't done zilch in his last few appearances. Abraham hasn't showed much lately? lol He's been our main goal source. Hardly anyone else is contributing.
  5. Every time a side struggle in the league, just put a request to play us. Faced 3 such sides recently in West Ham, Everton and Bournemouth and have picked up 0 (FUCKING ZERO!) points from those games!
  6. In the long run, of course. Playing as backup here and there (Nagelsmann might even just play both him and Werner together) for 6 months is hardly gonna be an issue.
  7. Leipzig are likely planning ahead for the inevitable departure of Werner. But they have no reason to sell in January when (a) they are still in all competitions (unlikely they will win the Champions League but still), (b) they have a good chance to win the Bundesliga and (c) "use" Werner to give Haaland time to settle into the team. Furthermore, the European Championship is coming up next summer. Why would Werner risk throwing away all the momentum and good work he's done this season to move in January and not getting selected for the tournament? IIRC, he spoke something about this recently. Unless he's guaranteed a first team place - ahead of Abraham for example (I doubt it) - he won't move next month. He's comfortable where he is at the moment at Leipzig, starting week in week out and scoring for fun. If anything, a club may try to do a Pulisic-type deal for Werner in January.
  8. Well, yeah but I doubt it'll be in January.
  9. Werner available in January? Says who?
  10. But he has also mentioned numerous times about having balance in the squad, which could mean he's wary of playing too many young players in the squad.

  12. Abraham's goalscoring record is good but let's not forget that he has also missed some guilt-edge chances, notably in the bigger games. Obviously we want our attacking players to be more clinical but it's also a risk that we take by playing young players in these key areas. It also doesn't really help that the midfield of Jorginho/Kante/Kovacic don't contribute goals consistently. Mount can do that but is inconsistent at the moment.
  13. Tomori not fit for this one. Hopefully will be back in training next week, according to Lampard.
  14. https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/news/ake-wilson-bournemouth-injury-crisis-17415028 Ake, Charlie Daniels, David Brooks, Junior Stanislas, Adam Smith, Steve Cook, Lloyd Kelly, Callum Wilson all out for Bournemouth. Josh King has a chance to make it, according to Eddie Howe.
  15. I don't mean you obviously but just go to his thread, especially during the early parts of this season, and you will see.
