Done deal!

Sure, we have a lot of players to sell but people need to realize that we're not living in the world of Football Manager or FIFA. We aren't just going to sell everyone in one go because that's not just possible. Otherwise, they wouldn't still be in the club's books after all this time. We have money to spend but it's not bottomless and in case people have forgotten, we still gotta buy at least a ST, a LB and potentially a new GK. That's going to cost a lot of money. It might be great to get Sancho but it would be mismanagement if we were to bomb a large of sum of our resources on him and then having to scrape the barrels with whatever that's left for the other positions. If we do get Ziyech, Sancho then feels like a luxury signing all of a sudden. If we do get Ziyech, the priority should then be turned to securing a ST and LB.

Why does Ziyech get the hate when he's not the one who made the decision to be brought to Chelsea? Was thinking the same yesterday but you could argue that Ziyech has more pedigree than Marin back in 2012 and if you believe the reports, Lampard already wanted him last month but couldn't get him because Ajax didn't want to sell. So, this doesn't feel like a backup signing at all.

I don't think Willian leaving in the summer is a foregone conclusion yet. We always seem to take the scenic route when it comes to contract extension situation like this. Remember the CHO situation last summer? The negotiation went on for ages and people thought he was a goner but he eventually signed. If we go back a little further, the contract extension with Terry was only announced in March of the 2014/15 season, few months from his contract expiring. Plus, there has been nothing conclusive about Willian not gonna extend his contract. It seems the negotiation is still ongoing at least.

The meltdown is gonna be funny if Willian does sign the contract extension.

I feel like Werner will end up at Liverpool. We may have a chance if we finish in the Top 4 but I'm not sure that's gonna matter at all. The Liverpool-Werner rumors appear to be picking up steam recently and Werner said last year that he fancies playing for Liverpool. We might well end up signing Dembele etc instead.

If Sancho goes to United simply because they have CL football, then he's an idiot.

Original report came from Bild, I think. Although I supposed what's reported there is not news. We know Sancho is likely to leave Dortmund this summer and the big clubs will be circling for him.

Unless I've become blind, looks like Pulisic is back in training... And Loftus-Cheek was also seen training with the team on Monday too.

Well if Willian does leave this summer (Pedro is already a goner), then we still have one more space to fill...

First thing I would say is, A LEFT FOOTER! HALLELUJAH! If the club are committed to CHO and Pulisic, then it makes sense to sign someone like Ziyech instead who has the experience to complement the younger ones. Having Pulisic, CHO, Sancho and maybe even someone like Boga would only complicate matters in terms of juggling playing time and this squad could do with adding a little more experienced players. That being said, I'm inclined to agree with you that I'm also not convinced about Ziyech's suitability in the Premier League either.

If the board have chosen Ziyech over Sancho, I'm gonna enjoy all the meltdowns...

But this is Chelsea we're talking about. It will not be surprising at all if, say, the board decide to buy Ziyech instead of Sancho because he is cheaper despite not being as good as the latter.
