Am I going overboard or exaggerating if I say, despite having defenders as bad as ours or worse, Arteta has managed to make Arsenal more defensively solid and (somewhat?) consistent in less time than Lampard has with us? There are still individual mistakes within that Arsenal side of course but they seem to have a proper defensive shape compared to us. On top of that, they also seem more capable of "hanging in there" in games as opposed to just collapse without fail like last time.
