Just realized that this season is only the second time we have won all our away games in the Champions League group stage. The first time was back in 2003/04 when we beat Sparta Prague, Besiktas and Lazio.

Arsenal do have a game in hand but it's against Spurs today. If they can take points off them, then that would be nice. On another note, it's kinda scary to see that United, despite being shit under Solskjaer, are only 3 points behind us with a game in hand!

Since we were on this subject a day or two ago, shoutout to Anthony Barry. Not only has he helped make us look more defensively solid from set pieces, he has also made us more dangerous offensively from the same situation. Already scored so many goals from corners this season for example, compared to last season. Also helps I guess to consistently have someone like Zouma in the XI as opposed to Christensen, who can't seem to score to save his life!

We were doing fine until about 2 games ago. Abraham was doing well and scoring goals. Hard to just drop him. The good thing this season is, Lampard hasn't tried to flog Abraham or Werner or someone else upfront to death before turning to Giroud. Lampard having Batshuayi ahead of Giroud last season is still one of the biggest BSs around.

It's not news at this point but James has really stepped up this season and looks to be taking more responsibility in the team. Everything about his defending, especially, has also improved a lot, even though that shouldn't be a surprise considering he has one of the best defensive full backs around to learn from. Long it may continue!

LOL and look what happened... And the comparison with Morata just because of the missed chances is just fucking lazy and stupid. For starters, had Morata missed all those chances that Werner had recently, he would have started to sulk and hide away from the action. But that's not the case with Werner, is it? He always keeps going at it, going for the shots etc. You might make his numbers look unimpressive by breaking them down but overall, it's been a decent return for someone in his first season in England, with the club in this crazy season. If he's already posting that kind of numbers while on a slow start, just imagine the kind of numbers he will start putting up when he and the team really get going!

It was a "chilled" game against Sevilla. We made changes, they made changes. Both sides already achieved their main objective and Sevilla looked half-arsed in that game.

Ironically, he's our top scorer this season. Make no mistake, that he should have scored more is obvious. Some of the recent misses have been shit...even I could only laugh in despair! That aside, are we suddenly just dismissing the period of adaptation, the fact that the whole team took some time to get going and all that earlier in the season? And by the way, he also has 3 assists this season and has won 3-4 penalties as well.

Great comeback win especially a tough side like Leeds and the win margin should have been way more comfortable than just the 3-1. Also pleased with our defensive performance. Leeds are in the top two this season for shots, shots on target and xG and they absolutely battered Arsenal and Everton in their last two games but we really restricted them, especially in the second half. Didn't really have any clear opportunities, apart of course from the Bamford goal.

It's obviously not great to concede first but we already had 2 comeback wins in 11 Premier League games this season. Had only 2 in the whole of 2019/20 (vs Arsenal and Aston Villa) and 2 in 2018/19 (both times vs Cardiff).

Very true. I hope that he starts as a striker against Krasnodar. He needs to score some goals against them to get back in his element. As much as it is tempting to do that, I wouldn't risk it. We have Everton, Wolves and West Ham to come after that in the space of a week.

Werner, Ziyech, Giroud, Havertz, Abraham. Could have been like 8-1 today!
