Mount is frustrating and has been this season particularly, but so have other players too, have to be objective and fair about things. Most of our attackers have an issue when it comes to the 16 yard box, out of the options they often pick the wrong one or the less effective one. We've come so far under TT and ultimately, Mount specifically as its his thread, will learn to take those options ie. the pass for Kai in the UCL final is what I think of as soon as I recall the runs/photo linked above of the pass that needs to be played. So let's not pretend he isn't capable of playing those passes and doesn't, the issue at the moment is that he hasn't taken the opportunities to do so yet, but neither have a lot of other players.

Absolute beast and a Chelsea lad, always enjoyed seeing him on the social media accounts, as well as his performances of course. Simply not the style of CB we need going forward, but he is a solid player for another team with a commanding vocal partner.

I will say that if anyone has watched the Bundesliga this season so far, yes few games in, but the defense and organisation of majority of teams is shambolic. Rom did what I expected yesterday, as TT rightfully said, it spoiled the game, this was supposed to be our stress test, though it was in a way in terms of our mentality, I wanted to know where we were and how far we'd come, even early on in the season. Big games weren't our achilles last season under TT, as we all know, it was the smaller teams, but I still wanted to see what is happening on the training ground to game translation for Rom/Mount/Kai - It was evident that it needs work, but the link up was there, its that last step and decisiveness that needs to come. TT spot on as usual with his interview, it’s like talking to a fan honestly, win or lose he says it like it is, in his way. No excuses and glad he called the ref out, again in his way. Previous managers may have ended up getting a fine etc and negative attention to us.

Disagree with the Alonso bash, I’ve been impressed, there are others that make more mistakes or are more wasteful within the team. I know he isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but right now, he’s keeping a stellar left back out of the team and has a great engine on him.

Stupid mistake. Young and will learn. Heroic performance from the team thereafter and it’s character building for sure.
