Can anyone believe the transformation Mikel has made? Most fans, including me, used to hate Mikel as a player. Although now he has raised his game and showed us how good he really is. He performs his role really well. Yes he gets caught in possession sometimes but to his credit this is starting to happen less. Also, many fans, including me, thought Mikel was not going to improve and that he had reached his peak. Well he is improving and is now a good player. I would still like it if we got a DM to contend with Mikel for the DM spot but Mikel has had a very good season, particularly the 2nd half of it.

Just goes to show Tika Taka is not always the answer.

AVB's man management skills were non-existent. He has alot to learn. However I do think he will get a high profile job sometime in the near future.

Robbie's Passion for Chelsea is a big asset. The fans will be behind him as well! Unless the impossible happens (Mourinho/ Pep coming to us) RDM should get the job!

Obviously, unlike against Barcelona, we will have to come out and play, which we can easily do against Bayern. Against Madrid it will be tougher but it can be done. If we sit back against Madrid we will lose. Unlike Barca, they will try different things and actual shots unlike Barca who tried to pass the ball into the net. Barcelona was stubborn. They only know how to play one way and that's why they lost. They don't know how to play tough and gritty, which Madrid and Mourinho do. P.S: I still haven't got an answer. Agreed with everyone. If we win the UCL, all the injustices we've been on the end of and the JT penalty miss can be just about forgiven, not forgotten (as they are important events in our European history, no matter how tragic, and have shaped our team to what it is now). Chelsea fans will finally be at rest. Although, no matter how much time passes, that 09 disgrace will always be the biggest scar in Chelsea hearts. That will Never be forgiven. If we won the UCL back than, we could have gone on to be the powerhouse Barca became...

If I'm not mistaken, the winners get 30 UCL medals. The entire 25 man squad gets one. Although, I'm not clear what happens to those who were invloved in the UCL before the final but are not in the squad for the Final, anyone know? Do they (Rambo, Ivanovic, JT, Meireles) get a medal?

This team is far less talented than that side. RDM inherited the team when they were down and out. Our season was an utter disaster and failure. Imagine what Robbie could do if he got the chance to mould and shape the team as he sees fit in the transfer window.

The mere fact he's got us here means he should be our main man for next season.

Jose will cut off his right arm now to beat Chelsea in the Final and Rub it into Roman's face. Expect a big performance from Madrid. They will show no mercy as Jose wants our blood. You can see it now, the narrative for the final will be Mourinho vs Chelsea, after all these years. He faces his boys at Chelsea in the twilight of their Career's, in possibly their last CL. One final encounter between Jose and the very spine he created, Cech,Terry (even though he's not playing), Lampard and Drogba

Bayern are not 'Average' my friend. They have weapons of mass destruction in their team (Robben, Ribery, Gomez) and have Schweinsteiger as well who has experience and can be the glue to their Midfield. They are a very good side. Although, like everyone has said, their Defence is their big weakness. I would rather play them than Jose and the well oiled, CR7 lead Madrid

Defence will again be the key. Yes we can attack more and commit more forward but we have to ensure we don't go overboard. A good defence will win us the UCL. Also, I wonder how AVB is feeling right now? After the shambles our defence was in under AVB, it would be oh so Ironic if we won the UCL with our typical Solid Defense we've had over many years.
