bitter result but wont say it was an unfair one our subs added nothing today we can't compete with City this season which is a shame but I'm hoping we'll make some good changes in the summer
if you disregard all the easy mistakes we've been making (which I hope we'll see less of in the 2nd half) I think we have defended well under the circumstances. Ivanovic is a loss but Bosingwa anyday over a half-injured Ivan we need to be creating more chances though, I'm expecting a lot will be said in the dressing room both from RDM and our players. c'mon Chelsea!!!!!!!
it's a gamble and a smart move by RDM because we need to gamble if we're going to get anything from this game Chelsea XI: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Cole, Lampard, Mikel, Ramires, Mata, Meireles, Torres. #CFC
we're going to have to gamble to win this one, or even draw if we put out the same team we played against Napoli they'll not only have to play just as well as they did then (which I dont really see happening anyway) but much better yeah City's recent results are not impressing but they showed in the 2nd half against Sporting that they haven't lost it completely of course there's not many ways we can "gamble" in regards to lineup, formation et cet. but I dont no.. I'm sure this will be our toughest match yet this season so something has to be done
got Spurs/bolton I wouldnt mind Spurs and then the Pool in a final, if we could get some really confident wins over both there would be no doubt about us being the most worthy winner
I think if Torres scores today Stamford Bridge is going to explode :dance1: sn: that ESPN commentator with the more pronounced accent always got some type of snide remarks for Torres on deck
