  1. I agree with you about Torres. I have looked at the extended highlights and it is exactly as you have described. Kudos to you. But I disagree with you about Cole. Sure, as I said in the post, maybe could have done better, but when things are happening at the breakneck speed in the box it is not easy to chase runners who can change direction quickly. If I do blame Cole, it wouldn't be much. Overall, I agree with a lot of what you've said. Cheers! PS: I've also added an Update to the post, shifting some, not all, of the blame over to Torres. Thanks for the insight.
  2. In this post, I looked at how the Genk equalizer was scored and try to figure out what went wrong -- who's to be blamed for the goal. My initial thought was that Ramires was at fault for not tracking the run of the Genk player who crossed in the assist. But after watching the replays, I came to realize that Jose Bosingwa was the main culprit in this case. http://carefreechronicles.blogspot.com/2011/11/pointing-fingers-another-confused.html - Cheers!
  3. I do think so. That's why I wrote in one of the post: "But the bottom line is: You should win every single game in which you score three goals." It's in the Individual Errors post.
  4. As promised, here are two more links from my blog. Both deal with the 3-5 loss to Arsenal. The first argues that Chelsea's attack should share the blame for the loss because of the miss chances, especially in the first half. http://carefreechronicles.blogspot.com/2011/10/cause-of-death-part-i-poor-finishing.html The second deals with the defense. Was it the high defensive line's fault that we conceded all these goals or was it simply because of individual errors? I see the latter as the main culprit for the loss. http://carefreechronicles.blogspot.com/2011/11/cause-of-death-part-ii-individual.html Cheers!
  5. I will try to post as much as I can, as long as you guys like them. I try not to post every article I write because I don't want to dominate the whole forum with just my voice.
  6. I have the same reaction that it. I think our attack was should take some blame for the loss against Arsenal for sure.
  7. As promised, I'm sharing this link from my blog - carefreechronicles.blogspot.com - before Swoopz gets there first | A close look at some of Chelsea's quality passes from the Arsenal game. All is not doom and gloom. http://carefreechron...om-arsenal.html Cheers!
  8. Thanks. I will share some of the links to my post here.
  9. Hi, I'm CareFreeChronic, the author and creator of www.carefreechronicles.blogspot.com - a website ran on my own. I don't know Swoopz but he/she seems to have "swooped" in and copied & pasted my post http://carefreechronicles.blogspot.com/2011/10/pointing-fingers-poor-rash-reactions.html claiming it here as his/her own. I welcome link sharing but this is simply plagiarizing. I'm disappointed that someone feels the need to do this and I'm posting this simply as a clarification.
