Lucas has had one injury in his entire career to be fair, and Reina has dropped off a bit in form, but for a while he was one of the best keepers around. But I am not going to sit here and defend your manager, he has certainly had some shockers transfer wise and he has a tendency to piss off players with his rather lousy man management. I still think his pros outweigh his cons rather heavily, and that he is a great manager if given time and patience, I am not sure if there is a point having him around as an interim manager though as he doesn't strike me as a manager that makes that much of an immediate impact.

Agger, Skrtel, Lucas and Reina have all tripled in value since he signed them Arbeloa was also a good signing. He also made Gerrard the player that he was at his best.

Yossi was never that type of player in my opinion, even at liverpool he never really linked up with Torres in any significant way. Mata might be able to get Torres going but Torres also needs to get his act together from what i've seen of him when playing for your lot he definately seems out of form or just bereft of confidence, cause there were times when he was basically a one man attack aswell, yes he linked up with Gerrard alot but he could score solo goals aswell. I think the way Ancelotti bedded him in against us fucked his confidence up something rotten, was the worst thing he ever did in my opinion.

My main issue with Carrol isn't even the type of player he is it's just that he seems to not even give a toss on the pitch, he shows none of the hunger or the lust to prove himself like other young footballers like lets say Sturridge, but also the issue is that everytime Carrol is on the pitch we just start playing hoofball with Carragher front and center just panic clearing it to carrol every single time no matter who we face, so frustrating. Without Carrol we play such a fluid and nice attacking game that is a joy to watch. The Carrol deal is the only deal I really disagree with though it must be said but I just don't see him fulfilling his promise.

I have to admit I really rate this lad, and I had this ridiculous hope that we would somehow get Sturridge in the Meireles deal, I knew it was unlikely but regardless I kept up hope. Because in my opinion this lad is easily the best up and coming English striker by some distance, and I hate to admit it but he is 10x the player Carrol is

Hey Liverpool fan here. Really sad to see Raul go, was a great player and we will miss his qualities in our midfield, you guys got a great deal I am not sure if he was the player you needed but he is class nontheless and I'll miss him.
