  1. Aye, caught my eye.' Good performance last night, very professional. Why didn't we do that in the first leg?
  2. I much agree, will be a very difficult game, no doubt.
  3. No doubt about that, we won't be making the same mistakes twice.
  4. I find it interesting how Jose mentions he would like to beat us in the Champions League. That suggests to me he will be looking for work abroad.
  5. Of course, Milan match our pay check and Italy's winters are considerably warmer than good ol'England.
  6. He can play at centre-half or full-back, and is a promising player. Problem is, I don't think he is good enough for our squad, but I initially thought the same of Alex.
  7. Wednesday, 12 March 2008 Aston Villa v Middlesbrough, 19:45 Chelsea v Derby, 20:00 Portsmouth v Birmingham, 19:45 Deadline: 19:30 Weds
  8. Saturday, 08 March 2008 Blackburn v Fulham, 15:00 Liverpool v Newcastle, 15:00 Reading v Man City, 15:00 Deadline - 14:45 Saturday -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday, 09 March 2008 Sunderland v Everton, 15:00 Tottenham v West Ham, 15:00 Wigan v Arsenal, 16:00 Deadline - 14:45 Sunday
  9. Wednesday, 05 March 2008 Liverpool v West Ham, 20:00 Deadline: 5 March, 19:45 My prediction: Liverpool 2 - 1 West Ham
  10. Sorry Mungii, but rules are rules. I would let you off but if I make an exception now, it would be unfair on others. Sorry.
  11. Fenerbahce progressed on penalties after it finished 5-5 at extra-time.
  12. Am I so drugged up I am imagining that the FA have done us a favour?
  13. Mine finished with United top with 88, Chelsea second on 86 and Arsenal on 85. Liverpool with 71, Everton with 70.
  14. Lyon have four main threats - Benzema's speed, Ben Arfa's close control, Fred's finishing and first and foremost - Juninho Pernambucano's free-kicks. If Man United prevent these factors, they have the tie won.
  15. Its bitterness, they can tell we got the better end of the deal. £11,000,000 for 102 goals? Good deal if you ask me.
  16. Its football. You could be bottom of the league in October and be top by Christmas.
  17. LMFAO This is a bad move, the FA are twats, they'll simply extend the ban.
  18. I agree, sacking him now would be a bad move, as crap as he is. It would affect the squad too much.
  19. They support West Ham, what more do you expect?
  20. My preferred trio up front is Joey, Kalou and Drogba and on the few ocassions both Grant and Mourinho have utilised it, its worked wonders.
  21. Us, United and Liverpool are as good as through in my opinion, Liverpool will hold out to win the tie on aggregate in Milan. United will unlocky Lyon to beat them and we should obliterate Olympiakos with any luck.
  22. He's a quality player, no doubt about that. I just think we have better players for that position.
  23. I wouldn't be surprised. The players are not idiots, they know Grant came in to gradually push Mourinho out of the door. José was their idol and inspiration, Grant doesn't even compare in their eyes anymore. After every good performance comes a poor one, its an emergin pattern.
