  1. Belletti off, Paulo on. Paulo's 100th Premier League appearance, well done to him.
  2. Couple of brilliant saves from Robinson; great save from a Terry volley and a Drogba stinger earlier. 1-0 half-time.
  3. Own goal by Gael Givet; brilliant ball by Balley to Nico, and a great cross into the penalty area saw Givet poke home. 1-0.
  4. Shocking play by Terry there, thankfully Carvalho was excellent in covering, however. Joe Cole should have scored earlier, but a bright start from both sides.
  5. Why not play Paulo left-back? Also pleased David Dunn is missing for Rovers; by some distance he has been their best player so far this season, the majority of their goals have been scored through invention and influence on the midfield.
  6. Use Firefox, the site is designed to be run on it.
  7. Well if he's a spammer, he gets booted out. As of yet, he's done nothing wrong.
  8. Cheers mate really appreciate those comments. Jim, the owner of the site, does the vast majority of the graphics and I help out with the content along with the members. If you need a hand, just drop me a PM.
  9. This will be no more than 1-0 or 2-0. Allardyce teams are horrible to play against.
  10. Well I appreciate it mate. All too often we get opposition fans who only piss around and spam the forums, its nice to see an opposing supporter with a sense of respect and decorum
  11. Welcome... I look forward to debating with you I've been told you're a Manchester United fan, but you're not causing any trouble in my opinion. I personally welcome opposition fans; we've got a couple of Spurs fans on here and a small little Juventus community as well; its always nice to have an alternate angle offered by opposition fans. The same rule applies to opposition fans as it does to Blues supporters - don't make any trouble
  12. Absolutely spot on. At least I'm not the only member to be a fan of the German, who, after Drogba, has been my player of the year so far.
  13. The point of this thread is for every match, for you guys to post your own ratings - I'll be doing this after most games in the future.
  14. In all fairness, I don't think that we will miss Drogba, Essien, Mikel and Kalou as much as in previous years, because we have the quality to replace them. The fixture list has been kind to us; we haven't got any games against any of the league's biggest teams, and only an FA Cup third round tie to navigate. Petr Cech Bosingwa, Terry, Alex/Carvalho, A.Cole Matic/Belletti/Ballack Ballack/Deco/Joe Cole, Lampard/Zhirkov/Malouda Joe Cole/Lampard/Deco Anelka, Sturridge Is that so bad?
  15. Bolton Wanderers vs Chelsea FC vs Chelsea head to the Reebok to face Bolton only days after playing against them in the Carling Cup. In a fascinating Premier League double-header between the two sides, Carlo Ancelotti's men could resign the Trotters to a fifth League defeat of the campaign as well as knocking them out of the Carling Cup. Match chat here.
  16. Chelsea FC vs Bolton Wanderers vs Chelsea face Bolton at Stamford Bridge with the Carling Cup quarter finals beckoning. Having beaten Queens' Park Rangers 1-0 in the previous round, Chelsea have been paired with Gary Megson's Bolton Wanderers, a side with a record better than most at Stamford Bridge. With thirteen Premier League sides in the final sixteen of the competition, with five top flight versus top flight encounters - including this one - Chelsea will have a great chance to go on and win the competition, as either one of Arsenal and Liverpool, Aston Villa and Sunderland and Tottenham and Everton will be booted from the tournament, giving the Blues a fair chance to go on and claim their first major triumph in February - but that's a long way away; let's beat Bolton first! Match chat here.
  17. It wasn't through lack of trying - he gave it a go, but his execution of passes was woeful imo.
  18. I thought he was pants to be honest
  19. Noticed all of Frank's best performances this season have been when playing alongside Ballack? I don't care what anyone else thinks; to me its absolutely irrefutable that the balance Ballack brings to the midfield is what gives Lampard the license and room to move forward.
