  1. Drogba looks hurt, potential groin injury?
  2. Cech has stopped it from being 2, 3 or even 4-0. We've been wank
  3. Benjani scores. 1-0. And Man City go 1-0 up just to rub it in a little.
  4. Where the fuck is Drogba?! He's so friggin deep!
  5. Blackburn are playing very well, putting us under a lot of pressure. Interesting game...
  6. Yuri has been our best player the last couple of games and certainly deserves to maintain his place in the side. Ancelotti does tend to pick who is playing to form but he does also have his favourites, ie. Lampard, Malouda and Drogba, and they always tend to play when fit.
  7. I think this man can score a few goals for us this season. The way we use our full-backs, he's bound to get plenty of chances. We saw against Wolves he had a couple of decent chances.
  8. I don't really see any evidence that suggests Lahm or Ramos are better than Bosingwa. Ramos and Bosingwa are very similar when it comes to an attacking sense. If you want to use the 'Ramos scores more goals' argument, then I will point out that it is far easier to score in la Liga than in the Premier League, simply because our league is far more physical and played at a faster tempo. Plus, teams in our division seem to be able to defend, unlike in Spain. Lahm is possibly a better play defensively but he's very one-dimensional going forward. At this moment in time I only see one right back better than Bosingwa, and he's called Maicon.
  9. Yes, right here on TalkChelsea. You've advertised without asking. Ooops!
  10. Because this is going to be a physical game and Blackburn will be unsettled by pace injected part-way through the game.
  11. Same mate, probably an issue with the update?
  12. We can have a team of right-backs... Sagna in goal... Lahm Alves Ivanovic Bosingwa Srna Rafinha Neville Glen Johnson Sergio Ramos Maicon Why not?
  13. Cheers pal... I've reset your password so you can log in again (check your messages). Change it asap.

  16. Fair point, but I'd personally start with Ivanovic at right-back and bring Bosingwa and possibly Kalou on to inject some pace into the game if necessary...
  17. This seems to happen whenever the server undergoes maintenance or updated are installed. Glad to be back!
  18. Alex is back, Ramires to return against Spartak and Lampard back for Liverpool. Ramires and Frank Lampard remain sidelined for this weekend's fixture, but Alex returns to the line-up after a four-week layoff. The defender has not played since smashing in the second goal against Arsenal on October 3, but will partner John Terry in the centre of defence against Blackburn on Saturday afternoon. Carlo Ancelotti is hopeful that Ramires will be fit in time to face Spartak Moscow in midweek, while Lampard is pencilled in for a return at Anfield a week on Sunday. 'He's not available and he will start to train at the beginning of next week,' said the Italian when asked about his vice-captain. 'Obviously he'll not be involved in the game in the Champions League, but maybe, I hope, he'll be involved in the next game in the Premier League. 'The other players, just Ramires is not available to play tomorrow but will be ready in the Champions League, Alex is fine and the other players are in good condition. We trained well and had a good week to prepare the team for the game.' We have not scored in either of our last two league away games, and Ancelotti is hoping we return to form on the road at Ewood Park, urging his side to play for the full 90 minutes rather than in fits and bursts. 'We are five points clear, we started well in this part of the season, and I think we can play better, because we played very well some parts of some games but not continuously, we didn't play 90 minutes how we want and it's the time to improve our play and play with more intensity on the game,' he outlined. 'Tomorrow will be a good test for this reason because we have to play a physical game, we have to play with intensity because it won't be easy to play against Blackburn away but we want to do better compared to last season.' That was a 1-1 draw in late March that threw our title ambitions into doubt, before we bounced back with a string of impressive victories and attacking football, just what the manager wants to see now. 'In the last two games away we didn't score against Man City and Aston Villa. We had a good away game in the Champions League against Spartak Moscow, it's strange not to score in two games consecutively away. We had a fantastic performance against Wigan when we won 6-0, but we have to do better away. 'Our philosophy is to play the best football we can, so when we don't play well I think it's not a criticism to say this. It is objective, and we want to play at our best in every game. 'I think now we are five points clear, and it's important to maintain this gap. Man City, Man United and Arsenal are interested in our results and they would like that we lose some points against Blackburn. 'This is normal and I think for this reason it's an important game, if we are able to win this game we can improve our confidence and give disappointment to the other teams.'
  19. I can understand their situation. As a youngster all you want to do is play games and establish yourself.

  21. Portugal full-back Bosingwa made his comeback almost a year to the day since suffering serious ligament damage during the Blues' Barclays Premier League defeat at Aston Villa. Ironically, Villa Park was also the venue for his return, while the 28-year-old made his first appearance at Stamford Bridge for 13 months on Saturday when he helped Chelsea beat Wolves. "My knee now is okay," Bosingwa told Chelsea TV. "After the game against Aston Villa, I felt more confidence with my knee. I feel good and happy. "I'm happy because the fans are receiving me very well and I want to give my best for the next games. "I need games; I need more competitions. I don't know how many but I need games." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/8088490/Bosingwa-glad-to-be-back-in-blue.html
