  1. Its not even funny how more compact we are with Terry and Essien in the team. I firmly believe we would not have lost at Birmingham or at home to Sunderland if they'd have played.
  2. Cech's wearing some lovely new gloves
  3. You're having a laugh. After the way he played against us, Foster's made a shocking error to gift Spurs the lead. Fucking typical.
  4. We won't go 2-0 up, Layla! I don't think we can hope for more than a draw in all honesty.
  5. http://www.stopstream.com/ch3.html Good stream
  6. Best start we've had to a game since Spartak away! Very promising! :cfc:
  7. The ball clearly hit Distin's hand there but I'm not sure if it should have been a penalty... would be very harsh!
  8. I appreciate that, but how is Sturridge 'in-form'? He does what every young player would do - run and run and run to try and impress. Look at Anelka; he can do something in five minutes (such as set up a goal or score it) and win a match. Sturridge doesn't have the same qualities.
  9. Unless he is MAD, Ancelotti will sign someone BEFORE he loans Bruma.
  10. Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea 12 December 2010, 1600 KO - EPL, White Hart Lane MATCH CHAT HERE
  11. Olympique de Marseilles vs Chelsea 8 December 2010, 1945 KO - UCL, le Stade Velodrome MATCH CHAT HERE
  12. I see your point. But the difference is with an unfit Drogba is any moment he can explode into life and supply the goal or assist that wins the game. Sturridge might be able to do that against MSK Zilina but he won't have a sniff against nine defenders today.
  13. We (and Frank, of course) have been very lucky with his injury spells. He has an incredible level of physical fitness and this is the longest spell out with injury he has ever had (except for his leg break in 1997) - and he is now 32 years old. He's been a very lucky boy. So we have to take this one on the chin and stop moaning.
  14. I can't believe you're saying Nicolas Anelka, our top scorer, and Yuri Zhirkov who has come on leaps and bounds this season, are both not good enough for this team. I'll throw you a pair of boots and you try and do better for us?
  15. An unfit Drogba is better than no Drogba considering our lack of options, however.
  16. Blackpool vs United been postponed, lets put some pressure on.
  17. I've dislocated my fingers and rolled them into a ball. I win.
  18. Ugh, we've really missed Yuri recently. Its no secret that we haven't won in the league since the last game he played.
  19. Why not? They did alright with Cech
  20. Lampard has been training on his own this week, largely in the gym, and is expected to rejoin the first-team group only on Friday. It may be unrealistic to expect him to have regained match fitness for the trips to either Olympique Marseille next week or Spurs on 12 December, leaving the visit of United to Stamford Bridge as his most likely comeback date. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/dec/01/chelsea-john-terry-frank-lampard His return date has gone from the end of September to the end of December. Shocking.
  21. Chelsea ponder £3.5m move for Lokomotiv Moscow's Guilherme as cover for keeper Petr Cech Chelsea are weighing up a £3.5million move for Lokomotiv Moscow goalkeeper Guilherme. The Premier League champions want cover for Petr Cech after failing in a bid for Asmir Begovic of Stoke and Lokomotiv, who sacked coach Yuri Syomin this week, are willing to talk. Guilherme, 24, is a towering presence at 6ft 5ins tall but may struggle to get a work permit as the Brazilian has yet to be capped. 22. Too late for that. That comes with the territory when you unceremoniously sack a celebrated former England international and one of the most-liked faces in the game.
