Well obviously many people are reluctant to take his signature off Real Madrid's hands at his age, and due to his injury woes. Their are players that take precedent to him thats for sure, but if we can get haggle a cheaper price tag mabye 15 million or less, a figure that I'm sure will be effectively lowered with his shirt sales and merchandise, it isn't too bad. Van Der Vaart showed us how you can move from Real to the premier league and achieve great success. I see no reason why Kaka can't. But it all depends on a reasonable price, Kaka's chances in midfield have certainly lowered at Madrid, and mabye we could use this as a ploy to lower his price. Nevertheless capturing Modric is most definitely of an higher priority, it's not like by January we will be lacking midfielders by the number and talent.

4 hours 20+ mins last season = Drogba+ Torres no goals 27 seconds pre-season = Drogba + Torres (1) goal :champions:
-
Crazy to think this is Torres's 2nd club trophy/achievement since his segunda division's promotion to la liga. At least we can always tell Liverpool fans that Fernando Torres has now won more trophies with Chelsea than he did in his whole career at Liverpool. Hopefully the first of many, good game and a brilliant first half too.

I'm not sure but over the past few weeks I've been getting an annoying feeling that the Chelsea management, and all responsible for transactions feel that our squad is good enough, and additional acquisitions are luxuries. Apart from the Modric saga I've never sensed urgency. I don't want to criticise, because I do really like AVB and want him too stay for a long time but I can't help but think that if Ancelotti had this window a few names, mainly Aguero would have been signed.
-
I really want Neymar too, I've wanted him at Chelsea for so long but it just seems that with the influence of Pele and Big Ronaldo Real Madrid would be his most likely destination . But If somehow Roman can bring him in than ALL the our misses will be forgiven for me :cfc:.And on Pastore I really don't mind losing him out for €43 million for that we could get Mata+Lukaku+K.D.Bruyne or Modric/Sneijder. Besides if Pastore himself choose PSG over Chelsea we don't want him, becuase its not like we don't offer good money he just went Robinho on us.

Terry About Yossi Benayoun On Chelsea TV!
TacticalBlues replied to xPetrCechx's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I beg to differ, Yossi was an astute signing by Ancelotti but David Luiz will hopefully become legendary and stay with us for a very long time. Ramires & Sturridge were also other brilliant signings by King Carlo, all of which I rate higher than Benayoun's acquisition. IMO. -

Pastore at Chelsea = Champions League Football
-
Wow 168 pages, I thought we were bad. Hopefully we'll leave you all heartbroken and get that thread locked :eyebrows:
-
LOL PSG boys getting desperate, making an account on chelsea forums. Getting nervous??
-
Is Abramovich sleeping?
-
If they offered the amount purported its slightly understandeble, but it would be a big setback. Pastore would have made a big, big mistake.

http://www.mcfc.co.u...guero-exclusive heres his interview Sadly, but inevitably confirmed. -
I hope this is just the media crap, damn this would be a hugely, and humiliating, setback.
-
Don't know weather I'm getting to ahead of myself too
-
LOL love the fact the fact that your from Turkey, but I don't blame you after the corruption scandal in the TFF and Superliga.
-
Really getting excited now. If anyone wants to know how he plays the most apt description would be the "Kaka of Milan". Never seen a player so successful in back-heeling through balls, he could really help all of our strikers let alone Torres. We would yield some brilliant midfielders for the future and present: Mceachran, Piazon, Romeu, Ramires, Pastore and Essien Let's just all wait and hope for an official confirmation Oh and hope that Zamparini and Pastore haven't chosen PSG
-
"Players like Pastore, Alexis Sanchez, Ganso and Eden Hazard are all important and everybody wants them, but when you want players like these, it is always hard. I have a great relationship with Palermo president Zamparini. There is no logic in the transfer market, but we must take things step by step. At the moment we are looking at what exists, but you have to know whether players like these believe in our project. Plus, even if you sign people like Pele or Maradona, it does not always mean you will win." : Learnado, PSG's new director (former Inter, AC manager) has quoted saying to yahoo sport France. Looking good :eyebrows:

Most encouraging performance so far, with Luiz, Ramires and Alex to return it can only get better.

Torres hits the post, unlucky.

Sergio Aguero joins the other Manchester club

Not necessarily, we just need to find a balance. Let's hope Boas can do that. -
Sergio Aguero joins the other Manchester club
TacticalBlues replied to .Cee's topic in Transfer Archives
They don't all have to start immedietley but at least get given the chance, I'm not asking for Boas to go all Arsenal on us and just play talents. Kakuta is fast, skillful and let's face it can give us a dimension that Malouda just hasn't for a while. If we can't get a winger this year, or even if we can, why shouldn't we give him a chance. I'm not talking a petty Mark Hughes chance but a proper one where he can hopefully step up and prove himself. If Modric and Pastore don't join we can't just play the same game as last year, yes we have a different tactician but the base is the same so I'm hoping we can test and try Piazon and Romeu on occasions. -
Sergio Aguero joins the other Manchester club
TacticalBlues replied to .Cee's topic in Transfer Archives
Though we looked to have missed out on Aguero next season can still be great if we play our youngsters. Cech/ Turnball Ivanovic (27) - Terry (30) - Luiz (24) - Cole (30)/Van Aanholt (20) / Bertrand (21) Oriol Romeu (19)/Ramires(24) Mceachran (18) - Pastore (22)/ Piazon (17) /Lampard (33) Sturridge (21) - Torres(27) /Drogba (33) - Kakuta (20) As well as Benayoun (31), Anelka (32), Bosingwa (28), Kalou (25), Malouda (31) Alex (29), Chalobah (17) Courtois(19 loan) We have seriously missed out on a gem, but let's hope our squad and youths can step up an fulfill their potential. Lukaku is still available but apart from that I can't think of another striker available that was as good/better than Aguero. Neymar is off the market and radar for another year at least too, mabye we can still bargain for De Bruyne though. If Kakuta was at another club playing day in day out we would've been begging for Abramovich too snap him up too. He should really be given more chances. When we get Piazon in January we should give him a few shots, and if our players perform to their maximum or close too it we will have a squad to compete for everything even without Aguero. Still... seeing him play in any shirt apart from the Chelsea one makes me fume. -
Sergio Aguero joins the other Manchester club
TacticalBlues replied to .Cee's topic in Transfer Archives
If we do lose him to City I will always mantain that it's due to the fact that we didn't move for him (this window at least), I've showed it before but Aguero did once say (last year I think): 'Chelsea are a great club. They have become one of the most feared in Europe over recent years.' 'I look at players like Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard and they have been - and still are - the best players in their positions in the world. I could really learn from players like that, there is no doubt. 'London would be a really amazing city to live in as well, myself and my wife could be really happy there. Carlos Tevez is doing really well at Manchester City but, for me, it is about joining a club who are ready to challenge for honours. City are not ready yet.' City may now arguably be ready, but from this you can really tell that he would have always preferred Chelsea to City. Mabye talks will collapse like with Juve , or better yet we could do a "Robinho hijacking" to City who maybe did us a favour. EDIT: 'Just landed in Manchester to finalize the details of the offer with the City. Everything is fine! In a while I'll tell you more.' Aguero said this on Twitter 32 mins ago
