Great post, and indeed he is our nr1 striker.. 14 caps and 3 goals at the moment.. In my opinion he didn't score more cause he almost needed to do all the work in front for Anderlecht, the only man that connected excellent with Lukaku was Boussoufa, who was off form beginning of last season and was sold in january to Anzhi. I would get him, only the price should be between M10£ and M12£, but in these days that's not going to be the case..

That would be the deal, but since the rejected offer from cfc in june, nothing heard anymore..

Add to that great crossing and shooting.. I have seen him cross a ball for 60m a 70m without any trouble directly in the foot of a teammate..

Chelsea allready talked with Genk about Courtois earlier, now the goalie responded to these talks. The plan is like with Kevin De Bruyne that he would be loaned back to Genk.

Lukaku isn't interested in a loan out, he wouldn't mind sitting on the bench in Chelsea. He declared that some weeks ago allready.. If they want to loan him back to Anderlecht then he won't sign and just stay another year in Brussel he said back then..

And again director Degraen reacted on the latest rumours. Again he makes it clear, De Bruyne will never go to Anderlecht, not direct and not with a Chelsea deal, they will take a clausule when it's time there are going some contracts on the table between Chelsea, Genk and De Bruyne. He also said that a loan back to Genk is a good possability..

No more news on the press meeting today, only thing that has been said is that foreign clubs need to hurry if they want him, cause they would be happy if he stayed another year.. My guess they are pressing teams for a bidding war..

Sad to hear he is probably leaving us to join Anderlecht via Chelsea, imo it will cost cfc a lot (Genk want at least €10M) but i guess Anderlecht are willing to give a good compensation for the loan..

I was hoping the deals with Lukaku and De Bruyne were done while i was away for the weekend.. Still have some patience i see..

Genk's technical director Degraen announced in the papers today that De Bruyne will not leave Genk if Chelsea are loaning him out to a other Belgium club, even if this would mean they miss some millions..

In Belgian media Lukaku's manager declared that no deal is close cause Cfc haven't got a manager. He also said that Anderlecht would have no problem to keep him many years on.. Imo the manager is just putting pressure on Cfc before they meet again, getting the most out of this deal..

Take a good read trough this thread mate, i explained somewhere what kind of player he is. He needs to gain some strenght to do well in epl imo, so maybe it's better to loan him out to a bottom or midtable epl team where he plays a lot more then at Cfc. I don't see the point loaning him back to Belgium, certainly not to Anderlecht, they play el qualification while Genk play cl quali..

Genk should ask 3 Chelsea youngster if De Bruyne goes to Anderlecht :eyebrows: I can not believe that we would let that happen..

They can not afford him theire selfs, so they need to do it this way.. I hope were taking an clausule with the sell of him, no loan back to Belgium unless Genk..

Courtois really is great, and he just finished his first year, looking forwrd how his career will go on..

I hope so It's a sign that we are working good with our youth. At Genk we have some great youngster still to shine, they are builing a squad of players between 16 and 19, who all need to train with the big boys twice a week, they will also get some specific training from the staff of the first team, specific for positions etc.. Still we lost a great propspect to Anderlecht last summer, Dennis Praet, he is also on the list of Arsenal and Man U, maybe Chelsea to.. But we got a couple youngsters back from Anderlecht next year, Boubacar Diallo(15), Sandy Walsh(16), Dennes De Kegel(17). Walsh is Dutch and English.

@Zan Lestienne was a great prospect, but it's been very quiet about him after his move to Bruges, last week he was important in the qualification for EC U19 tough. Ogunjimi and De Sutter are not good enough for Chelsea mate.. @CfanUK De Bruyne has a great potentional, fast, good dribble, great crossing and shot. He should work on his strenght though..
