  1. Enzo is more than capable of being in the double pivot with Moi. The issues the pair have had are pretty obvious to me and are ignored by media and even some of our own because of their transfer fees. Firstly, Enzo was our best player last season playing deep and he has done it internationally and in Portugal and Argentina's respective leagues and secondly, the rumours of him not being okay this term are overstated. Figure in that Lavia was bought primarily to help cover for our two overworked and over travelled South American mids and has never been around for them TO rest. Enzo had had no break from playing for two years when he arrived and surely had none since he got here and has been carrying that hernia for months too. Caicedo has had similar issues and importantly isn't used under pressure to break the press as he was at Brighton. Enzo was moved around different roles by Poch while Moi has been used to just destroy which is not him. In short neither have been truly fresh or fit, neither rested nor often played in their best roles. Moses has been hammered by the media this term very unfairly when you consider the madness around him yet has good player partnerships with Palmer and Gusto as.the most settled area with the ball in our team. Give both of them a more consistent role with players they know better next term and, provided they get rest things can only improve imho.
  2. Robbie Keane, Sepp Blatter and the anglophobic Platini.
  3. Whoa!?? We have a winger? I thought that went out the window when Duffer and Robben left, didn't it? SWP isn't a footballer atall, Malouda doen't want to be even though he's shown he could(though more of a left sided Becks than winger even at his Lyon best). Joey is no wonger and Sally Kally is a second striker played wide because he pulls that way as he models his game on Henry. Sinclair is right footed and is played on the left which counts him out(also better eventually as a striker). Stoch, though , is a winger of sorts so that's about it. One reserve winger who won't play. And Kakuta isn't a winger either-should be good though. EDIT:should we sign Robinho he isn't one either.
  4. I worry about Rijkaard. He looked like a broken man recently both at OT and the Bernabeu-and I'm not sure he's strict enough with the biggest players/ego's. I'd much rather go for Scolari with someone like Franco joining the staff to be groomed for the role in future to avoid any "Grant" situations again. Sparky-loads to prove. Sven-LMAO.Lippi-won't come anyway. Deschamps-not capable and hated his time with us, couldn't get away quick enough. Hiddink and Mancini-could both remain tied to contracts they want to see out. God knows what Jose's gonna do IF Mancini stays at Inter as there don't look to be any really big jobs going elsewhere-and he see international management as retirement football.
