You cannot play a double pivot if you have Mikel or Essien as your DM, John I don't move at all Mikel will just stand there whilst players are running past him. Lampard will not play a double pivot properly this season i bet you any money, he's attacking orientated and that's the way it is. We do, we need more rotation options, getting a right winger would be a very clever thing to do. Hulk does cost a bomb but still, if we can't get him then get someone else.

I actually really like him now, he earned my respect when he stuck that foot out on Xavi, even though he knew he couldn't get the ball. He had to stop Xavi on the counter, and he knew he would be carded. And if he gets carded he would miss out on the final, and the age he was he must knew he would hardly likely to play in the CL final again. So massive respect to him, huge commitment that is.

I know this is pre season, but if we play badly or lose here then there is something wrong. Still think this double pivot needs sorting.
