No. Clearlake have made the investments in the players they ought to make and have not shied from making big bets. Where they are at fault is they are not football men and cannot see when things are not working out, you make changes. This is from having Potter for far longer than they should have and then letting us suffer through Frank. Roman only hesitated once, at Mourinho 2.0 at pulling a trigger when it was not working out. We have the tools. Just the manager to make the talents whole. And Tuchel should have gone before he did. He had taken the team to where Mourinho in his 3rd season and Conte in his second season had taken us. A robotic team drummed of all creativity and verve. It shall happen to Bayern in this season or next.

People complain of this player’s performance and that player’s performance when it is all the players performance that has been lacking. When your manager sets you up to fail, you eventually lose confidence in yourself and the manager’s way. I can see a few players have downed tools. They no longer believe in Poch and it is only a matter of time. If the players were members of a platoon, they would consider fragging Poch by now.

Enzo has really gotten on my nerves this season with his poor performances. However, when he came in last season he was amongst the stand-out midfielder in the country, and this was in a Frank Lampard led team. The question you should ask is why are virtually ALL our players underperforming or inconsistent. My answer is always when the whole (performance of the team) is consistently less than the sum of its parts (I.e the quality these players are known to have played) the manager is always the one responsible.

I have not seen this level of disorganization in a premier league team since the early 00s. The players have no idea where they are supposed to be and just get run ragged. This has been going on for ALL our games…. We mark space rather than opponents while our opponents mark and press us and we wonder why the game is easy for them and hard for us. Poch is a dinosaur and if I as a non-professional can see these gaps and he cannot, then he is stealing a living here. I miss Roman. He would not have put up with this nonsense for long because he watches the games unlike these business men.
