totally agree with the above ^^^^ caught between a rock & a hard place as far as Mount is concerned. he was consistently 7 or 8 out of 10 for the last couple of seasons. tailed off last year & everyone said "ah he's played too much football & needs a break" a fair comment at the time.. however, since then he's been heading downhill like a runaway train. will he come back? who knows. - hopefully. but to demand a contract to match any other (much higher performing week in week out) player at the club, to me is ridiculous. it would be hard to say "wind your neck in" but that's why Chelsea employ top business people to negotiate such deals. personally I'd not think he warrants any more than any other experienced squad members. but then we've done just that with the suicide bomber & kdb & were proved embarrassingly wrong both times.. 🤷‍♂️

Enzo /Zakaria both have looked good there. or Kante if we keep him & on the off chance he'll stay fit. Kante 2 years ago was the best in the world by a country mile. although granted Casimero is pure class 👍

if you can judge anything in 1 half of a match I'd say he's far more suited to the prem than havertz will ever be! punt havertz on & pay what's needed to keep Felix. no brainer!

you're having a laugh aren't you mate??? countless chances against virtually every team we've lost to lately have come directly down cucurella's channel on the left. he's either miles out of position or tackling fresh air. our win rate goes through the roof when a fit Chilwell is on. (assuming he gets back & stats fit this time) cucurella is a pie!

nobody to blame but ourselves after what we paid for Enzo. I'd say by the summer that'll be a fair price. several big money players on the move end of the season!

frustrating game to watch. 1st & obvious question is why haven't we bought an actual striker out of all that spending. my own answer would be they must have a target in mind for the summer who isn't available now?? i thought the new signings did fine & Enzo hardly put a foot wrong in his 1st look at the Premier league. bonus of the evening was Reese got 90 mins & didn't look under pressure & Chillwell got a run out. those 2 back fit would be our best 2 sightings of the season. yes we looked all over the place but the future is looking a lot better than a month ago.... come on you Blue!

zakaria has been very good every time he's played before he got injured. mobile & decent on the ball & no big mistakes. can't see why we'd look elsewhere for megabucks before giving the lad a good opportunity 🤷‍♂️. otherwise why bother paying for youth. There's a top player there 👍

Mudryk looked brimming with promise today. really hope him & joao felix can be slotted in together? hopefully pulisic ziyek cho & havertz will be off in the summer. i still like havertz but can't see what he is or where he fits into a Chelsea side long term 🤷‍♂️

he was by far the most impressive player on either side on his debut. he's gonna be good 😉

we have bought several players lately who are examples of something I didn't believe existed till last season - a good player who couldn't play in the premiership! i always thought a good player could succeed anywhere. havertz ziyek & werner proved me wrong! there's been plenty of others if you think about it. cuadradro at Milan (I think) for eg. havertz is a classy player but I still can't see what he's supposed to be at Chelsea. let's just hope all these new signings aren't just Boely's scatter gun approach & someone with sense is pointing him in the right direction. Time will tell, 🤐
