Start KDB and he will control thr game vs United. I expected Mata to take control against Villa, but unlike KDB his movemant from inside right and switching with Oscar was poor. The only two changes we need for United is Lukaku upfront and KDB down the right.

Average display but Mou got us the 3 points. As much as I love Oscar I think the three behind Lukaku should be hazard-Mata-KDB.

I love the fact MOU has some proper balls and can go ahead and start Ba and drop Torres off the bench. We finally have a real BOSS in charge.

Iv heard Mou say in the past he would like to play Mata as a inside forward coming from the right. I see alot of people thinking Mata will start in the hole today, but I think Oscar will play alot of minutes this season as our designated No 10. Im almost certain lampard and Ramires will start, Lampard has a great goal ratio Vs Villa and we will need Ramires to track back and run down any counters. Would love to see Moses off the bench for Hazard, MVG off for Lampard and Mata off for KDB. My team to play Villa: Ivanovic-Cahill-Terry-Cole Lampard-Ramires Mata-Oscar-Harzard Lukaku

Some people are being totally unrealistic on how much Mou will rotate for this game. I see a max of two changes Mata for KDB and Lukaku for Torres. Its a big game and I'm sure Jose wants continuity within the starting team. We have great depth in the squad and Jose using out bench wisely will make us that much stronger.

I dont see Schurrle starting. I think we will stay with the tikki takka three behind the striker and try hold possession and kill the game off in the first half. If we go 2-0 up in the first half then I see Schurrle and Van ginkel coming on to hold and break up any counter attacks.

I doubt Cahill will make the same mistake and underestimate Benteke. Im more worried about JT against all the pace of Benteke,Abonghlahor and Wiemann. Jose said David is out for tomorrow so it will have to be Cahill and JT.

Im having really good GW1 so far and have Lampard, Ivanovic and KDB for the Villa game still to come. I agree with you that sticking with your instincts and your first team for at least the first two game weeks without making a transfer. Because then after GW2 you can make 2 transfers and if you want use your wildcard to make 3.

I agree with that, I hope Mata isnt used from the start against Villa. It would be great for Mou to give Hazard-Oscar-KDB another run out. Having Mata completely fresh for the United game would be awesome. Bring on Moses for KDB at 65 mins, Van Ginkel on for lampard at 70 mins and Mata on for Oscar at 80 mins for a small cameo.

For a debut I reckon he did really well. It will be hard for him to start the next game with Mata fit. His movement and work rate was top quality and I think he will be a big player for us this season.

Why? The dude gives everything on the pitch and that's what Mourinho loves in strikers. Torres has been given plenty of chances but if Mourinho cant get the best out of him no one can. Also AV next week will be a way harder test and I see Mou starting Lukaku in that game.

Its a gamble, but if AV are to score any goals in their opening two games theres a high % chance it will come from Benteke. I got the money to replace him with Aguero or soldado but I have no idea if both of them will even start?
