  1. Very good surprise for me, even if he just scored by now against championshipn teams. Good for his self confidence, good for the club.
  2. What about Lampard who decides to get him on the pitch and then, the useless Bats and Gilmore (in this situation), leaving on the bench, Giroud, the only substitue who could bring impact offensively but above all, who would have been able to defend and to keep the ball. How many points are we going to loose before Lampard become aware of the real strenghts and weaknesses of his team ? he won't be able to hide too long behind the Abraham's successful gamble (which i'm glad about ).
  3. He's awfull, i've always seen it, from his beginning when he was 16 for Saint Etienne, everybody was fascinated cos' he was so physically strong for his age (In France they love the very athletic players). So strong but he still has no brain, no sense of the game. Another Mangala, Mapou m'biwa for those who remember these 2 french CD scams.
  4. Given that we still miss Rudiger, James, RLC and of course Kante, that's exactly the squad i'd like to see. I'm fed up with Pedro and Willian (as i'm with Azpi too), they are both ojectively good players but they play for themselves and unless we had this kind of front striker, able to score alone (they must be 6 in the world), till we don't have players on the wings who can give the ball without touching it ten times or put it, accurately, in the box neither of our 3 front strikers 'll score many goals this season. Unlike Sarri did last season (but we had Hazard to make up the difference), we must play more for the front striker who 'll be choosen, especially if it's Giroud, he's by far the best of the three but he's also the more dependant because he needs the ball in the penalty area.
  5. We need him but i'd prefer to see him playing in a central mildfield position, he's the Lampard's sucessor, he stands out because ( like Pogaba) he's got the physical potentiality to be a defensive asset and the full technical panoply to be a very efficient offensive player. We could try to play someday with a mieldfield Kante - RLC - Barkley.
  6. Need to bang in a hattrick for Lampard to notice he's available. Hope for him, because goal is the only thing he can bring to a team, it should be a minimum against young players. Hope for us to because even if i'm certain he can't play alone on the front of our attack, if nothing else works, playing aside Giroud could transform him in a very prolific striker.
  7. 30 minutes by match, it's not enoughe for a rookie to prove ?
  8. He must be a very strong character cos' with his poors and repeated performances, i can't understand why Sarri and Lamp still keep him their confidence. More than his defensive weakness, his inability to make a good cross is a big problem for our team.
  9. Talking about wanker, you should change hand to overcome your frustrations, try Giroud, i know you like it too, it works right. Season gonna be long, players we curse today will may be our heroes tomorroy. Yesterday, even the players people found goods were just in the average, Emerson did'nt bring so much, Mount declined very fast and Kante was'nt the one we are used to see. The answer is in the collective. Let's trust Lampard, h'll find the good solutions.
  10. Chances created in the first half at Stamford Bridge: Olivier Giroud: 3 Every other player combined: 1 Isn’t that the problem, that only one player is creating chances? Think collectif and forget the miracle man who doesn't exist in our team !
  11. Azpi, Pedro and Willian are may be individually very good players but they are the plague collectively ! Is anyone on this forum who remenber the last cross or the last ball coorectly given in the box by one of these three guys ?
  12. Olivier Giroud Made a huge impact from the start with clever touches to create chances for Pedro, Mount and Kante. However, no chances fell his way as he was replaced by Tammy Abraham on the hour mark. Strong showing from the Frenchman. 7 Substitutes Tammy Abraham (Olivier Giroud, 61) Great reception for the striker as he replaced Giroud with 30 minutes remaining. No chances of note for him though as Leicester dominated the second half. 5
  13. Not a word about the "caviars" the big man offered to his partners ? I just can ilmagine the reactions if Bats or Tammy could make such actions. Giroud gonna make bright Mount as he did with Ramsey in Arsenal. Even if i know he's not our man, i hope Tammy 'll score when he gets on the pitch.
  14. Great ! Very offensive team, perfect for an home game against this kind of opponent. Waiting for the come back of Rudiger and James for Azpi and CHO for Pedro to see the ideal composition.
  15. 15 minutes. Like past season, it won't be enough for Giroud to make us win this kind of game. Keep on claiming your english rookie or your belgian ghost, till you realize as you did belatedly with Higuain, they don't have what it takes to lead our attack . Stop living with fantaisies, we can reach the podium this season with a front striker with 16 goals and 7 assists, we don't need a 25 goals striker, anyhow we don't have it. With the big man, Pulisic, Mount and CHO, we can have more ambition than this awfull "year of transition" what we can often read on the forum. Next season, with another champion's league qualification we'll be able to sign up a 30 goal's striker, so then we'll be strong as never before
  16. I'm really confused, to have start posting without introducing myself. I'm new on this forum but i'm a Chelsea fan since the early 90's. The other club i support is Bastia which plays in french fourth division. Bastia, my birth place, my city, my another blue faith. Our main historical character, Pascal Paoli, the man who created an universal constitution and led our nation against the french soldiers, was allied with english crown before he finished his days, far from his island, in finding refuge in London. I did the same with my passion for football, it belongs to London, it belongs to Chelsea FC, my fellows !
  17. My medical knowledge is as poor as my english vocabulory but it could be something like lucidity and non conformist view. Do you think we are, the fan football, the wisest and the most intelligent people among the humanity ? May be you are, i'm not, if i was, i would'nt loose my time always hoping my team beat another team, my players, my gladiators in the arena wear our colours the highest possible. Football carry in itself a violent part of us , i don't like it but it's a fact we cannot forget, you'll never see battles or hear racist insults during a badmington game.
  18. 2 in 27 ? 27 entire games ? Really ? Transition season ? it's journalist words not real chelsea fan. I want to see my team win and for we need the best players on the pitch, not the players who'll may be the best in 2 years. We have the players to win trophies, Giroud is one of them, let's play the more efficient players right now, let's get results, it's the easier way to build up a future, you can't integrate young players in a club in crisis. We are Chelsea, we are not Watford or Bournemouth !
  19. 2 in 27 ? 27 entire games ? Really ? Transition season ? It mea
  20. You're perfectly right but we live a big part of our life supporting a football club, sometimes two as i do, we dream of great games, about players fighting, till the end, on the pitch for our colours, we pray for victories, for opponents on their knees and for heroes who'll defeat our enemies . We are not amateurs ballet and poetry, most of us come from the gutter where this sport was born, most of us are still standed in an antique circus, we are men of the past, we'll still be for a longtime. About poetry this is for you and for everyone who didn't understand yet you can't live for love when you're a football supporter. Bread and circuses... When men will live for love This will bring peace to the world The soldiers will be troubadours But we, we will be dead my brother Peace on earth and glory to Chelsea !
