Here's our Claude Makelele on Bakayoko: Guy was exclusively mentored by the Mak for a month, and he seems like he's going to be a character on and off the pitch which we sort of lack at CFC. He improves the 11 quite a bit, and still has lots of room to develop. I think Conte is the best manager for him - Conte was quite similar as a player for Juve as well, so he's in good hands. Well done CFC for getting a top player in the making.

Are you kidding me? Please provide evidence for all this. Marina is head of player transactions - surely that means she's the face of CFC when we head into negotiations? There's tons of articles out there detailing she does exactly that.

Thing is - I think Fabinho is the better CM too, but he's also almost 2 years older than Bakayoko. But to scream that he's 5x better is extremely bizarre. Bakayoko isn't that far off Fabinho.

Kante, Bakayoko, Cesc, Baker, x, Luiz. Just need one more central midfielder, a good squad filler. Saw rumours of Renato Sanches on loan - someone like that would be great. That's more than enough depth imo.
