  1. So people are twats because they're excited about Mourinho possibly returning? Brilliant thing to say mate, brilliant.
  2. Serious? He's the only manager ever in Italy to win the treble. Of course Inter is going to be close to his heart.
  3. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8599146/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter For anyone who missed the interview. EDIT: NVM. Already posted.
  4. The player I'd be most excited about under Mourinho is Hazard. He could seriously turn this guy into a Ronaldo/Messi, his potential ceiling is that high.
  5. Was brilliant again today with T. Silva, they compliment each other so well. Luiz has been consistent for quite a long run of games now, hopefully he keeps it up and realises his potential ASAP. If we can get a CB of T. Silva's ilk to partner Luiz we'll be set for years.
  6. I'm pretty sure Taarabt is Moroccan too, he just doesn't play because of atitude issues. EDIT: Niclas got there before me.
  7. I would love a Thiago Silva - Luiz CB partnership. They compliment each other very well.
  8. Brazil's back four have been solid. Apart from that the likes of Neymar, Fred and Kaka haven't really done much in attack.
  9. This game is begging for Hulk to be thrown on instead of Kaka.
  10. I'd like Hernanes in our team. Good player.
  11. Can someone provide me with a decent stream please?
  12. What's wrong with his reaction please, tell me?
  13. Can people stop saying this please? We're one of the most elite clubs in the world. If Roman left, billionaires would be lining up to buy us IMO.
  14. THIS. Weekends are so boring without it at least NBA is on later tonight though on Sky.
  15. From the horse's mouth himself. The Real Madrid manager gave an interview at the League Managers’ Association Hall of Fame Dinner. He said: "The time I spent in England was the best time of my career so far and that's despite winning the Champions League in Portugal and Italy. In the Premier League we did great things and created history for Chelsea with a great contribution to some great moments in this incredible football country.” The Portuguese tactician believes the Premier League is a fantastic competition and he considers himself very fortunate to have worked in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain as a coach and manager. He added: “The atmosphere, the intensity and the emotion in England is something you cannot compare with other countries and for somebody that is really in love with the game, as I am, this is the place where you enjoy it the most.” Mourinho still has a home in London and loves this country immensely. He talked about how he would love to come back with his family and live there for a longer period.
  16. Mourinho didn't leave. Mourinho was sacked. There's a difference. He didn't just get up and leave CFC like he did with Inter or Porto. That's the main difference. Mourinho is also clearly not the same person as he was back 10 years ago - he doesn't need to go around Europe's top leagues and win every title there anymore - he's already done all of that. This is another, different challenge for Mourinho - the challenge to nurture and bring through a young side with bags of potential. - one I think he'll relish.
  17. No one is saying it didn't, stop trying to change the subject. We are talking about why you think people shouldn't get excited about Mourinho returning, not about how money plays a large role in our success (something you brought up by the way).
  18. Depleted Barcelona team? What the hell have you been watching?
  19. But surely City should've won more given their pool of talent? 5 years since they've took over, and they've only managed to win 2 major trophies. Compare that to 5 in just 3 under Mourinho. Doesn't that speak volumes to you?
  20. I don't expect you to understand since you've only started to support the club in recent years. What I seriously can't understand though is how you don't rate Mourinho because of one season of drama at Real - you are choosing to ignore that it's always drama there, regardless of who's manager. How you're discounting a manager who's done an outstanding job at his three previous clubs is quite laughable IMO. Is there any better option than Mourinho out there atm? No. Mourinho's head and shoulders above any other candidate. It's hard not to get excited when arguably the best manager in the world who's adored by all CFC fans is linked to come home...
  21. People are getting confused. When KDB said he has no time he meant he had no time to watch all full games. Of course he keeps up with our results and stuff, it doesn't take long to do that. People are just blowing this out of proportion and want to label KDB as a "spoilt" brat, something that people did with Lukaku as well. It was not until recently when people actually seen Lukaku's interview when they could see that Lukaku was actually a humble character. Like I said, it's just being blown out of proportion.
