I know some reputable people are reporting it but am I the only one that doesn’t buy into getting both Kounde + Kimpembe?

MDL and Gvaridol aren't happening. If given the option I'd lean towards Kounde as he is a more composed figure on the ball (when put under pressure). Not to mention if you look at his ball carries its almost identical, if not better, than Rudiger's.
