  1. Enjoying Atletico pants Real Madrid. Up 5 nil at half time. Courtois is a joke.
  2. Bayern Munich’s manager is now saying that Leroy Sane is their dream player. I hate them more than any other club. The way they publicly tap up players is sickening.
  3. As much as I hate Bayern, they are a massive club (much bigger than us) and CHO is more likely to contend for the CL and win the league playing for them. The fact one of the biggest clubs in the world (who rarely - if ever - overpay for players) were prepared to pay £45m or whatever it was for him would be pretty flattering for a teenager. Can you blame him for having his head turned, especially when you consider the state of our club in recent times and how stubbornly persistent Bayern were to sign him? It’s a massive opportunity to turn down. Throw in Sarri neglecting to play him for most of last season and uncertainty surrounding his playing security at Chelsea, you just cannot begrudge him for wanting to leave for greener pastures. In order for us to keep him, we needed to offer him an incentive to stay - either playing opportunity or high wages. Obviously, we can’t guarantee him playing time given that it’s no guarantee that his form will warrant it, so it appears as though we’ve offered him a generous contract. The worst case scenario is that he doesn’t kick on as expected and we’ve got to reassess where he’s at half way into his contract. Is that ideal? No, but it isn’t disastrous. What would be disastrous is if we didn’t do whatever we can to retain our highly talented academy players, let them leave to other clubs and have them become superstars elsewhere. He could spend three years at Bayern, kill it, then end up moving back to England to play for Man City or Liverpool. We don’t want that. I can (only just) live with seeing KdB and Salah dominate at rival clubs, but I could not live with seeing one of our own academy players do it as well.
  4. I hate Bayern with a passion. Would love it if their club died a slow and painful death.
  5. I am so f***ing pissed off. I have never been this filthy with the club before (and that’s saying something). Why on earth are we playing dumb exhibition friendlies on terrible pitches in the USA right before we are playing for a European trophy???? I shit you not, when I saw our lineup for this game my piss started to boil. WHY? Roman should just donate the chump change in his wallet to charity and not risked our best players on a shit heap gravel pitch.
  6. F*** Sarri. He’s an ordinary manager. CHO will be a top five player one day. I know who I’d rather get rid of.
  7. First I’ve heard they’re (Bayern) offering more money. Shouldn’t we be offering him more to tempt him to stay? We make some strange decisions.
  8. No point even considering this guy for next season if Sarri is here. He will rot on the bench while Azpi stinks it up all season.
  9. Sarri has driven our best ever youth prospect out of the club. Sarri can f*** off already.
  10. Don’t even think Real want him lol
  11. PLEEEEAAAAAAASSSEEEEE SELL HIM AND ALONSO. I BEG YOU ROMAN.
  12. I think we’ll be better off without him. Not instantly, but much quicker than people expect. I think sometimes we’re too Hazard conscious and he can slow us down or try to do too much. We will become a stronger team and club without him. I love you Eden, but it’s time to go.
  13. So is Aina going to displace Azpilicueta or is he a better prospect than James? If the answer to those questions is no, then what is the point of recalling him? I was also referring to realistic targets. How many of those players would come to us? The majority of them would be valued around £100m. There are far better options in different leagues plus Italian clubs seem to milk us for every penny. Ever since Conte has come in, we’re strongly linked with players from Serie A. It’s frustrating when our track record with players from that league is poor. They don’t adapt as well, whereas players from Germany and France seem to transition more seamlessly.
  14. So everyone is mad because we can’t bring in a LB who is doing well playing for a mid table Serie A side to replace our current LB who did well playing for a mid table Serie A side? Aina is turning 23 this year. Alonso joined us when he was 25. There will be nothing between these two players. Both bang average and tearing up a league that makes Bakayoko look like Yaya Toure. I hope we stop buying players from Italy. Rudiger was a success because he was developed in Germany. The rest struggle to make it in England. It’s a completely different style of football.
  15. The claims in this article seem so inaccurate. Supporter backlash my arse. We didn’t sell him because we see him playing a big part in our future. Sarri even said so. Also, why would CHO give Bayern his word in writing? That would be incredibly stupid on his behalf. What if Real Madrid or Barcelona come knocking? What if we make an improved contract offer that is too good to refuse? What if Bayern Munich miss out on CL and we make it? What if Hazard leaves and we guarantee CHO a starting position? What if Kovac is sacked and the new manager plays a system without wingers (e.g. 352, 41212, etc.)? There are an endless amount scenarios that could happen between now and the end of the season that could change his mind. You’d be stupid to make any sort of commitment in writing at this point in time. His manager would surely advise him against doing such a thing.
  16. Reckon you’re underselling him a bit.
