  1. I like Sarri to stay. He did well given the circumstances - lack of proper pre-season, toxic environment in the last half of the season, personal attacks, etc. Some keep harping about lack of rotation or being stubborn etc. Sorry, but some of the greatest achievements have been as a result of unswerving faith. Barcelona trains their players right from academy in every aspect so much so that it's instilled in the players as soon as they make their senior debut. What do we expect from Sarri? Only 2-3 weeks for what is a technically demanding system and we expect it to work? And if it does not work, throw the whole damn thing out and play long balls?? Actually, thinking about it now, Sarri probably over-achieved this season. The guy is classy - talks about the front of shirt being most important, the club being most important. And some have to complain about his Napoli comment. Give me a break - he just felt sorry that he could not won a trophy for the Napoli fans. Small minds. As a Chelsea fan, I'm pleased with this season. More than anything, I feel happy for Sarri. If he's not treated properly by the board or fans, then he should go where he is wanted and respected. Life's too short. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. I hope Sarri stays. Time for the board to have faith with a manager and help him build a squad he likes. Does not need to be billions of $. We probably only need 3-4 solid additions + the likes of CHO, RLC, Mount and Reece James. Mourinho calls jorginho the best midfielder in the world. Pep wanted him, whilst also having a huge respect for Sarri. I'm willing to defer to their better judgment and take what they say! Give Sarri a team that plays to his style and a proper pre-season. By the way, he was class after Cahill's knucklehead and selfish comments. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Watched Juve beat A.Madrid. What a beast Ronaldo is. Can't remember Hazard ever doing anything like that for us. Single-handedly running the entire game, umpteen times hat trick, etc etc. Take the £100m and move on. Revamped the squad when we can but play the youth if ban remains. And by the way, Simeone changed nothing even as the situation looked dire. Not sure he's that much of an upgrade vs Sarri Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Analysis of CHO by Nouman, a Chelsea fan. CHO brings width, crossing and enthusiasm to the team. If he plays, I would argue you need RLC as well for the physical threat at the end of his crosses. They demonstrated some understanding in the Wolves game last night. If we can, We may just have to sell Hazard (and Willian) to re/invest into youth and take risk of not making top 4 for a couple of seasons. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  6. Would make my day for CHO to be match winner! Go Chelsea!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Good to see Drogba and Hasselbaink in the stands! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Perhaps we'll need a Luiz special to create the opening goal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Come on Hazard...2 poor corners in a row Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Why is it Sarri? We had enough chances to score 4, 5 goals. Sarri did not pick Rico to save Higuain's shot. I get it that the manager sets up the team and strategy etc. But if the players can't execute, then it's as much the players to blame. By the way, I do think exhaustion was a big factor in how we faded after 50-60mins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I would vote for that. And that would feel like we won Champs League again. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  13. Sarri talked about starting sarriball project with only 13-14 players as it takes a while to comprehend it. At Napoli, it's also been documented that performance intensity drops massively in 2nd half of season as well. So it would appear that we will have to endure a period of pain as the team not only have to learn the system but also experience the fatigue as the season sets in. And that's assuming Board gives him full support, players all buy in and no one commits any brainfart errors (Alonso in first goal). I don't see how Sarri can go from being a world class manager to a clown in half a season. There's just no point in firing him and continuing with this bust /boom. I for one rather have sustained results through longer term efforts. The whole club (board, manager, players) have to look at themselves and agree on a medium term plan, understanding we may not be competing on all cups for a couple of years. Prioritise - top 4, EPL, whatever...and tweak the entire infrastructure accordingly. For now, focus on top 4 and Europa win... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
