  1. Hazard is without doubt the most talented player in the team but badly needs a mentality that matches his talent both for Club and Country (See world cup). He needs to be more direct too. Robben and Cristiano Ronaldo were less direct earlier in their careers but the moment they added that to their game, they became even more dangerous than ever before. Sometimes, especially this season, Hazard is often scared of entering the box, or shooting at goal. No goals and 2 or 3 assists all season with one/two penalties already taken is not good enough for the EPL POTY last season. It is not even good for his personal development. I really don't know how hard he trains presently, but I really do hope he starts performing well and scoring again. The team really needs him (as well as Fabregas, Diego and Matic of last season) just like Barcelona needed Messi two seasons ago.
  2. 3 points was very important today and I'm glad we got it in a good fashion. These are my thoughts after yet another drama today at Chelsea FC. I personally thought we were always going to win somehow today regardless of who's the manager, especially playing at home. Also it's important not to get carried away, considering that we won against Sunderland, one of the worst teams in the league ATM. Our ability will be much tested against better sides especially during the packed festive fixtures. The match today could have finished 2-1 on a normal day, as we naturally don't get penalty calls in the league. We still need to learn to kill chances especially from open play. As for the fans at SB today, I totally understand their frustrations even though some reactions were over the top. They have the right to express their opinions, Stephen Holland also agrees too. They pay the players' wages with their hard earned money and they have every right to feel let down. The players will have to win back their trust again. I personally still don't trust these guys despite today's easy win. Every logical person most likely understands that this is just the fans showing support and deserved respect for JM and not really turning the club to Mourinho FC (that idea was pretty myopic and laughable). Chelsea FC wasn't Roberto Di Matteo FC in 2012 and it won't be anyone else' FC now. Fans just want their club back because these could also happen to even another manager if the players are not openly critised now. I am positive that the situation will change once Guus resumes fully. He's much respected by the fans which is much different to Benitez' unpopular appointment. Hopefully, this begins a much needed turning point in this already f***** season.
  3. You are right brother. We should all be very sad after this game. In fact, it would have been better if we lost another 5 - 3, at least that would be entertaining. How many fans will prefer a draw to a loss against a team that only lost by an own goal this season? No one!!! I even expect the team to jump from being terrible to fantastic overnight. Who needs clean sheets after conceding 23 goals in 13 games. Just like you are, I think I'm one of the most realistic fans around here. Or am I not?
  4. Hahaha! People will always be people.
  5. But the manager was also the reason why he was slipping on the pitch almost every time he touched the ball at Chelsea?
  6. In simpler English, 1. I was saying Mourinho did not turn Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain, Di Maria and Ozil to TOWNSEND kind of player because: A. Ronaldo, Benzema, and Higuain all played better under Mourinho than they ever did under attacking minded Pellegrini, B. Ronaldo, and Benzema, (because Higuain did not play for ANCELOTTI) also played much better and scored more, to SOME EXTENT, under Mourinho than they did under ANCELOTTI. C. Ozil played much better under Mourinho than he's currently doing under another example of an attacking minded coach. 2. I also said that based on your assumptions, we could also say that Ancelotti also turned Bale into another Townsend last season. 3. I concluded that it all short memories, just like some fans calling Hazard an overrated player simply because their arguments just like yours is totally flawed and baseless. Now, next time, before calling me or anyone a fan boy, which is not only disrespectful but also downright childish, you should at least come up with a better logical argument probably backed up with statistics too Or you could speak with someone with a better understanding of both the language and the game before posting utter garbage. I was not even responding (or quoted) your post in the first place
  7. Like he did to Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain, Di Maria, Ozil right? FYI, the first three played much better and scored much more than they ever did under attack minded Pellegrini or even Ancelotti to a great extent. Also, Mourinho's Ozil was much better than the present one. Clearly, Ancelotti also turned Bale to Townsend last season. Short Memories!
  8. But you know that when you've conceded 22 good goals mostly from individual errors, with the highest number of shots against, then you know that part of the problem is mostly defense and not attack. I know that our attack isn't ticking at the moment but you can only blame the manager for so long when some of our key attacking players are off form. We've scored 16 goals, same as Tottenham presently 6th on the table. The only difference between us and them is mostly defense because they've only let in 8. Look at the game against Liverpool for example, they didn't have any successful through ball and they managed to score three in almost the same fashion. The scorer touched the ball at least thrice in the box for each goal. Those things kill attacking moral as well. Also, look at the Stoke game, arguably our best game this season. We were playing so well in attack only to let in a goal because no one was ready to close down the player on the ball. That's very frustrating. Yesterday, Man City didn't get a goal until about 70 minutes but they were only up because their defense hadn't let in a freaking goal or two. Remember, the last time they let in two goals in a match, they lost at home even with their superior attacking game play.
  9. I don't for once think the money has ever been the problem. The real question is that, will sacking Mourinho now end the problems? Who's is going to come as interim manager? What if we still end up winning nothing as well as not qualify for champions League with the interim/new manager? Could it be ever worse than that even if José is kept till the end of the season? These are vital business questions. Remember, Roman sacked Ancelotti, paid him close to 10M according to reports, signed AVB, paid Porto about 13M, only to sack him after six months due to player power, and also paid him another millions as severance package. The real problems have never been fixed before and won't be fixed by sacking José now. It'll only start the cycle again.
  10. Apparently, it seems there's going to be mass suicide soon if José isn't sacked in the next few days or weeks, but from what we've seen so far, I don't think it's going to affect match attendance or atmosphere at the Bridge.
  11. Goalkeepers Asmir Begovic - Has given his best so far but not the calmness you'll get from Courtois especially in the box 6. 7.5/10 Thibaut Courtois - Let the team down against Swansea but redeemed himself against Westbrom. Too bad he's been injured. 6/10 Defenders Branislav Ivanovic - Worst individual player this season. Too bad it's happened to him really. 2/10 Kurt Zuma - Young and still learning. Occasional lack of positioning, but always gives his best whenever called upon. 6.5/10 Abdul Baba Rahman - Young but still lacks confidence. Hasn't had a convincing game so far especially now that he's terribly needed. 4/10 Gary Cahill - Very inconsistent and has made benching old man Terry very difficult. Has let the team down on numerous occasions too. 4/10. John Terry - Tired old legs which is somewhat understandable. Has let the team down too on numerous occasions. 4/10 Cesar Azpilicueta - Mr dependable. Player of the season so far. 9/10 Midfielders Cesc Fabregas - Lazy most of the times. Showed signs of brilliance occasionally but has overall been a shadow of himself. 3/10 Ramires - Initially played terribly early in the season but has so far improved. Won his place back in the team and brought some stability back to the defensive midfield. 6/10 Oscar - Played well in the first match of the season but has since then faded into obscurity after his injury. 5/10 Eden Hazard - So much talent, so much potential but has failed to show responsibility. Has let the team down too on numerous occasions; Slowing down counter attacks, afraid to get into the box most of the time, and always fluffing clear chances as well as pks. Most players of his ability need no external motivation. 3/10 John Mikel Obi - Has not had much chance but let the team down greatly when brought back into the team especially against Everton, and Porto. Zero tackles attempted/won in both matches. Did well though against Walsall. 4.5/10 Kenedy - Showed great potential despite limited chances he's had so far. 6/10 Pedro - Brilliant initially and won a lot of fans over but has since then let everyone down. Too selfish on the ball, wastes possession and clear chances too. 5/10 Nemanja Matic - was initially terrible, then showed signs of recovery in the past three matches but seriously let the team and himself down against West ham, in what looked like he intentionally got himself sent off. 3/10 Willian - Terrible initially but improved thereafter and deservedly won back his place in the team. Saved the team too sometimes, and always showed desire every time he's called upon. 7/10 Ruben Loftus-Cheek - Great potential, did well against Walsall and Maccabbi but was very disappointing against Aston Villa with about 60% passes completed, and One tackle won. 5.5/10 Forwards Radamel Falcao - Limited playtime, great movement but not convincing enough. 5/10 Loic Remy - Mostly disappointing when called upon except for Walsall game. Seems to have a special desire to stay offside especially when played alone. 4.5/10 Diego Costa - Limited services this season. Showed passion and desire in most matches but seems to love to fight many times than play the game. 5.5/10
  12. First, I didn't outline who was fake or real fan. That was just an assumption. You are definitely a Chelsea fan no doubt about that but if you still think that's our worst football in the past 12 years then, it's either you've not really been a fan since the time of the "Tinkerman" himself, or you're just overreacting. PS: No disrespect intended.
  13. IF that was our worst football in 12years then maybe you should tell us the meaning of your "12 years" I just can't stop laughing at some these "fans'" posts on this forum.
  14. We could have won the game on another game but we showed some improvements especially in the defensive work. There were little panic defense this time. I'm also very happy for Matic today. He played really well. I hope he's back to his very best. I know a lot of people really want us to start tearing teams apart once again but I think getting solid defensively first is the first way. When you've conceded a truckload of goals, with highest numbers of shots against, being solid defensively is definitely the first step.
