Villas Boas looked like a little boy lost (Albeit a very fucking rich one) towards the end. I think he tried to do things his way and he didn't seem to mind who he upset. Fair play to him for that and I admire his bottle. He let himself down with the brutal culling of Anelka and Alex, If you look at the dire Wigan game, Thats the sort of game where Anelka would have got us a goal. Alex was miles better as a centre half than Luiz and would have solidified the defence. It'll be interesting to see what Robbie does with Drogba, Kalou, Malouda and Meireles. We have had one good season out of four from Malouda and I've said on here before, They should all have been punted last summer. As far as Meireles is concerned, I think he was only brought in to back AVB, Portuguese and all that. He has been truly pony.

I would have taken O'Neill and/or Moyes before Carlo if I'm honest. Given the finances, Moyes has done a blinding job at Everton and O'Neill has shown Steve Bruce to be the cunt I always thought he was.
