If they get past PSG I'm gonna eat my shoe.

I think pivot of Kovačić and Jorginho gave us stability and balance and less job for defense. Yeah, Mount and Barkley give us more flair, but with defense this fragile and without Kante we should really force those two to play. Azpi-Zouma-Rudiger-Alonso really looks least bad of our all defensive combinations. We created many chances, so I think we are set offensively too, we were really lacking a bit of luck to score one of so many chances created. Giroud, Pulisic and Willian are undisputed in this moment if you ask me. If Frank is going to play this 4-3-3 formation, he should stick with this players, only question is if we play RLC, Barkley or Mount as most advanced midfielder.

Man United will play with mixed squad and we should too. Good thing is - our bench is much stronger than theirs. We have CHO, Mount, Abraham, James, Christensen, Barkley... Shouldn't really bother much about that game.

Thank you very much!

It was probably asked before so I am sorry - what happens if we and Leicester finish with same number of points? Is goal difference or head-to-head decisive?
-
Totally agree. I don't think Alonso is better than Kepa, I just think keeper's position is more important than left-back.
-
What do you guys think what is more important to us - to sign left-back or a keeper? I assume we can all agree that buying central-back is more important than those two...

Fucking Bournemouth, GET IN!
-
Abraham should never again start a game this season. Also, play 3-4-3 when our defense is pure shit like these days (maybe not against Norwich, ok). GIROUD AND 3-4-3!
-
I always liked the idea of having one winger that is aggressive runner and executor (Pulisic) and one winger that is creator (Ziyech).
-
Watch it. And try not to see spoilers, it was a crazy ass game!
-
Kante could play as DMF but only against bigger ball-keeping sides. We lacked massively in building up from the back today, it would be suicide against smaller teams to have him there.
-
I hope Pulisic will end up being player like Pedro, only faster (because he IS faster). Direct and always a threat to goal.
-
Pulisic is a killer, really direct winger perfect for counter-attacks. Great in front of goal. Even that missed chance, you can just see his great movement and composure when in full speed, it's a shame it wasn't a bit stronger. Really love the guy.

This is not PES stats. It's a forum created BECAUSE of reasons you mentioned - PES stats being inaccurate. I repeat, those are not stats from GAME PES, those are stats for gamers to copy in PES. Written by their community and forum members. For example - if you want some player ability ratings to be changed, you must provide strong written and video evidence, attach some YouTube videos from games so the change can be taken into consideration.

I think Torres peaked as a really young guy, compared to Drogba who came to top club with 26 years and peaked in his 28-9. Torres was at his best as 23yo in first Liverpool season. So if one peaks earlier, it often means he would decline earlier, too. Especially if his game is built around pace. Also, I think Torres WAS a bit overrated, but not that much as some mentioned. Regarding to speed of Torres and Werner - PES STATS DATABASE has them like this: Peak Torres (24yo): Acceleration: 93 Top speed: 89 Present Werner: Acceleration: 92 Top speed: 91 I follow that page and they rarely make mistake about player stats. I think that sums it all, Werner is a bit faster and can improve more on that.

This is what happens when you have both football knowing and business knowing people at your club. Long may it continue, bravo to Lampard, Čech and Marina!
-
Date when he could come to us and date when we could announce signing are two completely different things, same as it was with Ziyech. I won't mind him coming when Bundesliga ends, let's just wrap up the paperwork.

Don't know if this was posted here already, but here goes:

You'll get fat from so much popcorn, u know?
-
I think Vardy is technically average player, he is just crazy fast and has great finishing, something Werner is good at too and will get better with experience. Ok, Auba is stronger, but I don't think that's the reason he is good.
-
I don't really get this he can't play as a lone striker thing. There were tons of stikers with same characteristics as Werner that played as a sole man upfront. Aubameyang, Vardy and Defoe first come to my mind. I don't really see why couldn't he, too.
-
I guess man got tired of waiting for Liverpool. Great deal. Also, it seems like we are really in good situation with money, I guess a lot of clubs will try to sell their players because they need money after corona crisis. We don't, we are stacked.

Seems to be an elite dribbler, short passing was good too. Reminds me of Kovačić with his attributes, hope he can be better at passing, especially for final third, than Kova.
