INOES🤮🤮🤮 💬Sir Jim Ratcliffe asked by @UWSmag about Manchester United's Women's team: 'There’s only so much that you can do and our focus has been on the men’s team. If not, you get spread too thinly.🗯 ‼️‼️United: Ratcliffe wants to "save a mediocre club"🗯🗯 💬Even under new coach Ruben Amorim, Manchester United's sporting record is mixed. Jim Ratcliffe, billionaire and boss of the Reds, now wants to get the club back on track with a firm hand and strict measures and is facing headwind from the fans. Ruben Amorim took up his post at Manchester United in November as the great savior. The Portuguese coach had previously shaped an extremely successful era at Sporting Lisbon, winning two championships and two trophies in four years. The Red Devils, on the other hand, have now been waiting eleven years for a Premier League title. That should change as soon as possible. United boss Jim Ratcliffe wants to see to that. After four points from the first two games under the new coach, two defeats followed against Arsenal FC (0:2) and surprise team Nottingham Forest (2:3). The English record champions are currently in a disappointing 13th place in the table. And the strong man at the top has had enough of disappointment. Ratcliffe wants to finally bring success back to Manchester. "The club is now mediocre and we have to do something to save it," the 72-year-old told the newspaper after the defeat at the weekend. Some "difficult and unpopular decisions" were necessary to bring the club back to the top, the billionaire explained in an extensive interview with 'United we stand'. "United is not currently one of the elite and should actually be one of the best soccer clubs in the world. It certainly was under Alex Ferguson. There are big changes to be made to achieve elite status and there have already been big changes." Means above all: the boss wants to save money wherever possible. "I know we get criticized in the press, but we have to question the cost of running this club because I want us to have enough money to buy really good footballers and not have to spend so much money on infrastructure. We can't run a business at a loss and that's what United have been doing in recent years," said Ratcliffe. Every pound has to be turned over The methods are tough. In the spring, the club made almost 250 employees redundant in order to save money. At the beginning of the week, the decision was also taken to raise the price of Premier League tickets to the equivalent of at least 80 euros, with discounted tickets to be abolished in the future. Fans have been protesting ever since. For Ratcliffe, it's all just a means to an end: "We have to run the club efficiently and well. We have to turn over every pound so that we have more capacity to invest in players." However, these players should no longer cost huge sums of money and then fail to perform. Amorim has already been told that his transfer budget is limited. The solution: bring in cheaper but better players. To achieve this, the scouting system is to be overhauled. Scouting from the last century "We're still in the last century," says the United boss. "And until we're as good as everyone else in the world, it's not good enough for Manchester United. We have to have the best scouting in the world. Data analysis goes hand in hand with scouting. But it doesn't really exist at United." A lot of changes are needed and "something like this doesn't happen overnight. You can't just flip a light switch. It's about people and we have to find the right people," said Ratcliffe. But he has the necessary stamina for it - and is not afraid to make difficult decisions.🗯

✅️Great list💪✍️ 🗯Washington will also leave whether on loan or permanent he would have almost ended up at Strasbourg at the end of the summer. I think Nkunku, Tosin KDH, Madueke and hopefully R.Sanchez will all leave Chelsea this summer too in addition to your players already listed above‼️

‼️I think the midfielder who will leave Chelsea in the January transfer window is, in my information and opinion, Cesare Casadei. Very likely. (via@FabrizioRomano)

🚨🆕 Understand that Vitor Reis is already a potential transfer target for Arsenal and Chelsea 👀 next summer! Both clubs are closely monitoring the 18 y/o top talent from Palmeiras. Central defender with a contract valid until 2028. (@SkySport) @Vesper how well do you rate Vitor Reis?🫣🔵

🔵🎙Enzo Maresca on Jorgensen playing against Spurs: "We will play Sanchez and 10 players. That is the only thing for sure." (@BobbyVincentFL)

🚨 The noises coming out of Chelsea from the early days of pre-season were that Axel Disasi was not considered technical enough to play in Enzo Maresca’s system. His selection over the first 5 months of the campaign has done nothing to dispel that notion.💵 Benoît Badiashile remains highly valued at Chelsea despite falling below Colwill and Fofana in Maresca’s pecking order. The internal consensus is that he continues to make positive developmental strides and, at 23, has his best years ahead of him.🗯 (@liam_twomey)

Chelsea & PSG are very interested in Lens 20-year-old centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov. Khusanov may leave Lens for a transfer fee of €20M. (via@RMCsport)

🔵Robbie Earle: "Enzo Maresca has left a bigger impression on this football club than Graham Potter and Mauricio Pochettino during their time, in 13 games. That's credit to him and the people who bought the players."🗯 (@The2RobbiesNBC)

👀 Former Man Utd chief scout Mick Brown on Mudryk: 🗣️ "I hear they’re keen to move him on in January. I think they’ve got the makings of a very good team at Chelsea, but he isn’t likely to be a part of that. There isn’t space for him in the team at the moment and I don’t think Maresca has been particularly impressed by him so far."

💬‼️JOSH ACHEAMPONG IS NO LONGER FROZEN OUT. HE’S IN 1ST TEAM TRAINING. James, Gusto and Disasi are all not training as well.💙🗯 🚨Tyrique George, Kiano Dyer, Shim Mheuka, Sam Rak-Sakyi, Zain Silcott-Duberry and Zak Sturge are all training with the 1st team ahead of the Conference League game. 💫

Chelsea are in talks over a fee for 15 year old sensation Mathis Eboue, who has already played and scored at U21 level. (@kierangill_DM) 🗯He is the son of Emmanuel Eboué♦️

🗣️ Graeme Bailey: “Guehi is someone Chelsea like, he’s high up on the list. He’ll have a year left on his deal next summer. He’s one to keep an eye on for sure, we know Chelsea like him, and Chelsea do want to upgrade the options behind Fofana and Colwill.”🗯 🗣 Graeme Bailey on Dewsbury-Hall: "Maresca knew about him and knew he was a quality player. It was a very strange deal. I don’t think he’s going to be at Chelsea at the start of next season. It is what it is."🗯
