Why the hell is Chelsea pursuing Benatia? I know this guy has been the best CB in Serie A but we are already heavily stocked in that department. We already have Terry, Cahill and Kalas. And Zouma might be there as well next season (unless Chelsea send him to Vitesse)!

From what I see, Thorgan Hazard has been the best player out on loan (exceptions being Lukaku and Courtois). Bamford also had a great season in the lower leagues, and I have not even heard of this guy before

Lukaku is a player that the club missed a lot last season. I think he scored as many goals as Chelsea's total strikers combined!

Most of the loaned players were regular starters at their clubs, as opposed to only 11 chelsea players playing at a time :/

I think we should not buy a new midfielder as our club is heavily stocked in that department. Van Ginkel hopefully has an injury free season so we can get to see more of him.

Jose has managed to convert Hazard into a player who contributes both in defence and offence. He can do the same with Kroos if he comes to Chelsea

So what you are saying is that Mourinho wants a player like Ramires or Oscar in central midfield, a player who covers every blade of grass on the field.

Well it is true that Mourinho prefers players who contribute in defence (the reason why Mata was sold to United), but Kroos can function as a deep lying playmaker alongside Matic, Matic can provide the defensive cover while Kroos makes all the passes and what not. Although it has to be noted that Chelsea do not play like Bayern or Barca, so who knows how Kroos will fit in Jose's system.

Oscar has a higher work rate, which fits into Mourinho's style of play. Kroos is a lot better at passing though. This season Kroos has been Bayern's equivalent of Xavi. I wouldn't mind Kroos and Oscar playing together though.
