  1. I never get this theory. So what if he is joining us if we're offering a better contract? This just means he is indifferent towards the clubs and he'll join whichever gives him better money, project etc.
  2. Thanks for this. I have always rated you as a very sensible poster here.
  3. They are just trying to save face cause ADL said he wants to join Chelsea over Manchester City.
  4. That's very unclassy in a fair debate. Doesn't matter who is right or wrong.
  5. What City are doing right now is exactly what we did with Lukaku last season.. When the news broke out that deal has been agreed for Lukaku, there were very few people on Twitter claiming how Chelsea now have matched United's bid for Lukaku. No source is bigger than the Owner speaking himself. ManCity mouthpieces are just trying to fight back in an already lost battle.
  6. From what I've been reading in the past few days. This is how it goes.. City and Napoli were trying to negotiate a deal for Jorginho. City wanted to pay 50 million euros tops. Napoli wanted at least 55-60 milion euros. Napoli also wanted Sarri's release clause to be paid in full by Chelsea (8 million euros) and didn't want Chelsea to trigger relase clauses of players that weren't being sold this summer (which excludes Jorginho cause he was already replaced by Fabian Ruiz) Chelsea Board and Roman saw the loophole and went in for Jorginho as they were looking for a Deep Lying Playmaker anyway (hence Seri rumours). Who better than a player that thrived under Sarri in that role? So it's a 57 million euros deal for Jorginho + 8 million euros for Sarri. Taking the package to 65 million Euros in total. ADL was happy with this offer and he got more for Jorginho than City were paying. He gave the go ahead for Jorginho to Chelsea. He doesn't want to come out as a prick, so he's putting it on the fact that Jorginho chose Chelsea over City.
  7. It was widely being reported that Jorginho is their number 1 transfer target. Even over Fred. Manchester City are only trying to sace face now.
  8. Guess who got Gazumped? Pep Guardiola
  9. Not really. DiMarzio is the most reliable out there. If it was just an XYZ paper, that'd be understandable. City apparently wanted to pay 52 million while Napoli were asking for 55-57 million (Euros). This double deal gives them the money they wanted for both Sarri (8 Millon euros) and Jorginho (55 million Euros)
  10. He's a Deep Lying Playmaker. WIll be the one picking out the passes from the deep and looking to spread the ball in attack.
  11. I think so, else he would have been sacked long ago. We wouldn't have faced many problems with getting Blanc if Sarri wasn't going to happen, but looks like our Board wasn't entirely sold on Blanc. All in all, I think Conte was Plan B and not Blanc.
  12. Now he will I think. THey were just waiting for Sarri deal to go through so they knew they had him at the club first.
  13. https://gianlucadimarzio.com/it/sarri-chelsea-segnali-positivi-domani-puo-sbloccarsi-la-situazione DIMARZIO HAS SAID IT! JORGINHO + SARRI TO CHELSEA! ITS HAPPENING!!!!
  14. Not sure I agree with the last lines. Rugani has played under Sarri at Empoli. Conte liked Morata's profile but never got to play him. Also, you can't just turn a player that has little technique on the ball into a great passer. All in all, I don't think it's worth keeping Zouma now if he doesn't fit into the team. He didn't have a particulary great season at Stoke btw. He was a part of a defence that conceded the most goals in the Premier League.
  15. Why do we get excited when we have been burned so many times before... I am buzzing right now. But even if this doesn't happen, watching City fans panic and call for Teixeira out is hilarious af.
  16. It's bullshit imo. Even Arsenal have a Russion co-owner yet they have been able to make signings.
  17. Its not just smoke. If Chelsea weren't approaching Sarri, Zola's interview wouldn't have happened. He's pretty much confirmed that there are talks for sure. It's just that what's the hold up and what are the details, that we don't know, and everyone's just guessing at the moment.
  18. You are too gullible and get influenced by Twitter too much. We're not getting anything out of this exchange between us. Let's bury it here. Just remember to put actual quotes from actual websites. You did the same with Kovacic and 100 million. It misleads people as much as it misleads you. Peace.
  19. First of all, there's no way of seeing if DiMarzio really said that on Sky Sports Channel. Merely stating it doesn't make it reliable. I'm not believing this until there's actual Video Footage of him saying that, like there were actual footage of Zola talking about Sarri and Conte. Secondly, even if this is true, that link doesn't say anywhere that Monday is the "DEADLINE" for Sarri to Chelsea, which you claim from your post.
  20. Read this again. You wrote Monday is the "deadline" for Sarri. Else Conte will continue. Anyway, I see no point in dragging this conversation. You're backtracking from a place you can't really backtrack. I don't care what you believe or not, but stop posting fake quotes from DiMarzio and other reliable sources. It misleads people on here. Thanks.
  21. That's just some random person on Twitter quoting DiMarzio. Bring the same quote from his OFFICIAL site or twitter page then we'll talk. Also, even in this tweet, where is it stated that if he isn't here by Monday, we won't sign him at all?
  22. Fair enough. It's really weird though that there are multiple reasons for our failure last season. You could actually blame the Board, the manager, the players and you won't be wrong anywhere in doing so.
