Who will bring it out from the back? Oscar should be dropping deep but he isn't doing that. He looks like a lost child on the pitch without Fabregas beside him.
-
Filipe!! Nice!

If Hazard was poor in this game, I shudder to know the adjective that can be used to describe the non-performances of Costa, Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Oscar and Willian. Hazard can't be a super hero when we play like that. It's not even a situation where you can say, "give us a special moment" That's how bad we were. The clear negative was that he lost the ball a little bit too much, but the ref was ignoring a lot of clear fouls today.
-
I disagree completely. I thought given the circumstances, he was clearly the brightest spark in attack. Many dangerous balls that others failed to capitalize on and was the only one who looked a threat with the ball, especially in the opening 20 mins of either half. Predictably had less influence when we went a goal down and started to play so incoherently.
-
We've been terrible away from home recently. 2 wins in 6 games. We are also playing very badly generally away from home (excluding Schalke away). It's a serious worry, especially as City are now back in form. If Mourinho persists with his team selection, this will be more than a blip.
-
Football is not a stagnant game. It changes week in week out, and so do opinions. What I said about Mourinho still stands. We're generally playing much better and he's at kept his word on the "evolution" bit. My comment was about the team selection. I've been hammering that point about Azpilicueta consistently for weeks now, but he's so amazing in one vs one situations, isn't he? Actually read it before talking nonsensical unintelligible bullshit. I'm not in that mood right now.
-
The only thing I can say in his defense is that he's played far too many mins for club and country this season and it shows. No player has played more mins for Chelsea this season. He's looked out of sorts in the last few games and should have been rotated more.
-
Before people start blaming Hazard for the 2nd goal, please be fair and see where he lost the ball. It was in our own half almost. It was a very retreivable position but we failed to deal with it despite having so many bodies back. The entire midfield and defense were terrible there. Hazard like many of our other players was trying to hard to force the issue after going a goal behind and got caught out. I won't crucify him for that at all. Instead, WHY we looked so clueless after going a goal behind is a much bigger problem.
-
Terrible. All on him but he'll find away to talk shit and blame somebody else. He should come out and say he selected the wrong players. Azplicueta at LB AGAIN is daft and he acknowledged that with his sub. Ivanovic has been a nonentity recently. No Remy is unforgivable especially when it was clear no one was making runs to Hazard's balls into the box. Nothing was learnt from the Sunderland game. The partiality and favouritism to certain players needs to stop. Luis LB, Azpi RB, more Remy, Costa isn't undroppable when he's having a mare. Ivanovic is far from undroppable. We fans see all these things and don't need a multi-million pound salary to make adequate adjustments. And the fact we looked so clueless after going a goal behind is worrying. The players looked like they didn't know what they were supposed to do.
-
Hazard gave the ball away practically in OUR own half and nobody recovered. See how many bodies Newcastle players beat to score that goal. Blaming Hazard alone is quite low.
-
Still our best player though. Look at the way we played as a team, ffs. Even Messi would have struggled aside that shower of shit. ZERO cohestion
-
Once they scored, we didn't know what to do. Mourinho needs to look at himself there, instead of smirking on the touchline.
-
It won't be if Mourinho doesn't stop playing his favourites. We've won 2 in 5 away from home recently.
-
Costa should have been subbed out for Remy a long time ago. Guy is having a mare.
-
That's how to cross a fucking ball = Filipe Luis. Too little to late. We fans have been crying for 2-3 changes to the line-up but Mourinho has his favourites, it's obvious.
-
Fuck me, persisting with Ivanovic at RB and Azpilicueta at LB is the height of stubbornness. The importance of good attacking fullbacks simply can't be overstated. Hazard put about 3 decent balls into the box early in the 2nd half but no one was there to receive it. No one attacking the box. The fact that Alan Pardew showed more balls and put in a 2nd striker before us angers me a lot. Then he goes and scores. At least now he subs out Azpilicueta. Too little to late.
-
So, so predictable. Mourinho is completely to blame for persisting with the fullback problem and not bringing on a striker at half time/first 5 mins of 2nd half. Terrible management and I was just praising the man a few days ago. Some of the players are to blame also. Simply unacceptable.
-
And there it is. Just fuck off.
-
Newcastle are bringing on a 2nd striker. I don't know what the fuck Mourinho is waiting for. It's clear that there aren't enough bodies in the box. Remy should replace Oscar instantly.
-
WTF, Azpilicueta?? Our fullbacks are a shambles. Can't even control simple passes.
-
Hazard again by FAR the best player on the pitch. No one making any fucking runs. So frustrating. Get a 2nd striker in there before we drop any more points, ffs
-
Let's go again, hopefully we can be much better in the 2nd half. Need to play braver and quicker. Fullbacks need to be better.
-
I'm actually watching this game on mute. Can't stand that fucking knobhead, Owen. An absolute disaster of a commentator.
-
I like that idea. Oscar should be the one. He's terrible in this game.
-
We've lacked cohesiveness away from home all season in the Premier League and we're starting to be found out. It's worrying that we can't transfer our pattern of play away from home. I'm seriously worried we'll drop points in this game if we don't improve drastically in the 2nd half and score early.
