I disagree with many points, but since you're tired, let's agree to disagree then.
-
Or maybe she actually was just thanking fans for their support? She has a huge following and the positive support she got must have been overwhelming. You have no idea as to her intentions, so please stop pretending like you do.
-
(a) Okay, first point Alex.. This is a common canard that is inapplicable in this situation. Are you trying to suggest that Jose losing his rag on the touchline was all part of a "deflection". Or that Dr.Carneiro's suspension (or expulsion) from the team bench, team hotels and practice sessions is one grand deflection? Of course not. Let's address the elephant in the room, guys. Mourinho has an almighty ego and self importance about him. He also has an uncontrollable rage. He could easily have diffused the situation, but chose to escalate it. That isn't a deflection. That's public scape-goating. And he's done it with Hazard before after we got crushed by Atletico Madrid in the semis. Remember? It was clear to me then that Mourinho will go great lengths to cover his own backside and that he has no respect for even the people that give him so much. (ii) No. I simply meant that whatever Mourinho told the team at half time was innefectual and actually resulted in making the team play worse. I also meant that anyone who has been paying close attention to Chelsea in the last few months would have noticed that pattern. One good half. One bad half. It's either the team isn't ready in the 1st half or the team begins to play much worse in the 2nd after a good 1st half. It's becoming too frequent to not be part of a larger problem.

He's only saying that to defend Mourinho, who as we know can do no wrong. Yes, it's Carniero's fault thanking fans for their support. LOL

The idiots are the ones who think being a Chelsea supporter = supporting Mourinho at all cost. If and whenever he does leave, I hope this sect stop pretending to be Chelsea fans and f*** off to support him wherever he goes. Be that to a domestic rival or whoever. Remember, Mourinho said he has no qualms about managing one of our domestic rivals. If you're willing to turn a blind eye to the incredible amount of negativity this guy bring to the club, then by the side claim to be a fan of the club, you're a hypocrite. Or just really small time. As if Mourinho is the be all and end of all of Chelsea. Embarrassing. Even United fans don't behave in this manner towards Ferguson. I know you're one of his devoted acolytes. Please re-evaluate the reason why you support the club.
-
This is just not true. Every other day, it's one issue or another with Mourinho. Taking a swipe at his staff, other managers, putting his own players under the bus , refs etc. He's constantly at war with everyone and hardly ever owns up for his own failures. Why is Mourinho always having a go at everyone? Let's not forget we were actually playing fairly well until his ineffectual team-talk (which has increased in its frequency). Then int he 2nd, we came out looking clueless and defensive. That's when Swansea began to completely dominate which ended in Courtois getting sent off.
-
Mourinho isn't the one "demoting" her. In the club hierarchy, the manager has no authority whatsoever to demote the team doctor. And especially at Chelsea.
-
(i) I don't really buy his faux emotional attachment nonsense because as soon as he left the club, he had no business mocking the club in one press conference at Inter and even calling Drogba of all people, a "diver". The guy that doesn't even know the most basic lyrics to our most popular song, ffs. Did you watch the victory parade? I felt embarrassed for him. Part of this "one of us" nonsense is what Mourinho does at every club he manages. He has a lot of charisma and a tremendous cult of personality, so he either consciously or unconsciously woos some gullible idiots, (who really should revise WHY they support a football club) into thinking his actions are infallible and beyond reproach. So much so that criticizing him = criticizing Chelsea. (ii) Ya think, Tomo?! Chelsea fans are a thousand times more defensive of Mourinho than Liverpool fans are of Dalglish or United fans of Sir Alex. United fans are sometimes very critical of Sir Alex, a guy whose won countless more trophies for United than Mourinho has at Chelsea. This example is also a bit of a red herring since Dalglish and Sir Alex, don't give as much of a reason to be criticized. Think of all the negativity the man attracts to our club, yet some of our "fans" dismiss it as just "hating, jealousy" or whatever. Mourinho is slowly but surely pushing himself over the edge. He should know we are his last serious hope. Which top European club will employ him again after us knowing his incredibly volatile and ridiculous behaviour and the unattractive/reactive style of football his team's play?
-
I'm a Chelsea fan alright, not just a blind, slavish worshipper of Mourinho. The way some of you CHELSEA fans slavishly defend and turn a blind eye to everything this guy does, even when he's completely to blame is worrying. It's so small time, like Chelsea wasn't "Chelsea" before Mourinho and won't be when he goes. You pledge your allegiance to the manager. I only care about the club. That's the difference.
-
The man is completely out of control. I won't turn a blind eye to his crazy behaviour because he's the manager. As we've seen, manager come and go at this club. Mourinho has no respect for anybody.
-
Sorry, but that's absolutely untrue. I respect Dr.Carneiro first and foremost, because I know what it takes to be a practicing doctor in what is a male dominated field, in the football world no less. Mourinho is an egomaniac and a little child. He likes to play the "one of us" card on the gullible fans, but those of us who know better know its all bullshit. We've had 11 managers in a decade. He's only the manager and he should remember that. The fact that he felt the need to publicly air out his grievances to the press and call a trained doctor "naive" for doing he job is pathetic. Even Guardiola in his moment of madness with the Bayern doctor knew not to take it to the press conference. Mourinho lives his entire life in the press room. I used to naively think his irrational behaviour was done to protect his players. But that's a stupid myth. He does it to feed his own uncontrollable ego and to divert attention away from his own failures.
-
Some seem to think supporting Chelsea = Defend Mourinho at all cost/make his actions infallible. Mostly post-Roman crowd from my experience. This is not what supporting Chelsea is about. When the manager actions are out of order, he deserves to be called out. When the manager isn't doing his job properly, he deserves to be called out.
-
Thanks for bringing the sexism crowd to the front door of our club, Jose. We really appreciate it. Now this is dead cert to become an international news story by tomorrow.
-
I feel ashamed to be a Chelsea fan reading comments defending this negativity attention magnet, Mourinho. Mourinho is god to some of you. He's never to blame for anything!
-
So Mourinho didn't make a public statement by moaning to the press about the "naive" team doctors? You Mourinho worshippers (because that's all you guys are) are the worst.
-
Mourinho could have simply let it die there and then, but he went to broadcast it to the media. Mourinho has no power over the club doctor in the club hierarchy, even during a match. He's just the manager. The doctor is there to ensure the well being of the players. Mourinho crossed the mark, no doubt about it.
-
Very strange how anyone can find it "hilarious". What's so hilarious about a grown man behaving like a child? From his vintage point, he knew nothing about what was wrong with Hazard. He might or might not have suffered a serious injury. Mourinho was more concerned about not conceding a goal. That's what this whole thing is about.
-
He seems to be always at war with one person or the other.
-
Unfortunately for him, it seems he's going to be the 3rd choice striker this season. Predictably. If he knows what's best for his career, he should leave in the next transfer window. I see an incredibly frustrating season for Loic.

I posted this in the post match Arsenal thread. Bolded parts are relevant to this game. Unbolded relevant to our season in context: "What have we seen so far that we DIDN'T see in the 2nd half of the season? Or for majority of the 2013/14 season? Against big sides, specifically in the CL? * Is it hopeful lobs to no one in particular? Or wingers playing as fullbacks, spending more time in the opposition half? * Or 3-4 passes in our "built attacks" then a player hoofing it to no one in particular? Or passing it to Ivanovic to cross the ball to no one in particular? Or ZERO shots on target for over 70 minutes? * Or Ramires being an automatic, unjustified starter? Or Hazard receiving the ball in bad positions, before being crowded out? I can go on. Gone are the days we actually play well in both halves. When we do well in one half, the team becomes defensive in the other or vice versa. This was all predictable to anyone who knows quite a bit about football and the history of Jose Mourinho, the manager. No signs of practicing organised attacks, instead a brief period of dominance then an overreliance on individual brilliance of 1 player. Whether it's Drogba, Milito, Ronaldo, now Hazard. When the team became "defense + Hazard" for the 2nd season in a row, I knew we were headed in the wrong direction. We all wanted to blame it on "fatigue", but that was only part of the problem. The bulk of our problems lies at the feet of the manager. The technical quality of most of our players has gone down the drain. We now rely on instictive talents of our attackers to win us games instead of anything coached on the training ground. That might work against smaller, weaker teams, but against stronger sides, it won't. I know many people in this thread will start blaming individuals again, I won't because I know better. Our players are MUCH better than they have shown today. I know what they are all capable of and I know why they've played the way they did today. I refuse to blame any of them. I'm not that surprised Roman has failed to back Mourinho in the transfer market. Signings will have been a temporary solution to a permanent problem. We will be lucky to scape 3rd place this season. CL? forget about it. At the first sight of a big team, we will park the bus and be humiliated again like against PSG and Atletico. We might win the FA cup, but that's about it. Time to wake up. This team is already on the decline under this manager. "
-
He's had a shocker.
-
Mendes player, Falcao ahead of Remy now? How so fucking predictable.
-
Big mistake.
-
Yet another 45 min game were we completely lose control and fail to turn up for the other half. That's been the staple of this team for months, even years now. How many 90 mins performances have we had in recent memory? Very few.
-
How is the alleged "new contract" coming?
