I'd totally be on board with that train of thought had we had Costa or Drogba at the club, but our last two managers have afforded Morata far too much time & it's ultimately cost us as a result (could be challenging with back up CF's at our rivals). Hope this is the last time I have to mention his name in a meaningful capacity.
He did his bit at Liege & Marseille. His short spell in Spain is the only period of his career that I would perceive as a failure. Another player that I can see thriving elsewhere
He has never been given a real chance here, so saying he's failed here is going overboard. Morata has failed despite ample opportunities. Michy going to Monaco on loan seems like the most probable outcome.
He's stated a few times that he prefers the style of football, but the false nine rubbish is nullifying him. Let's hope a CF will solve a number of our worries
He's a DLP, isn't he? I get the fact that runs aren't being made around him as much as we would like, but that hasn't stopped Luiz completing almost twice as many through balls. Our midfield needs to offer more than just retention.
