  1. Not when I posted there wasn't. I'd agree folk voting for Mikel, Lampard and Torres are equally silly. Oscar I don't have a problem with as he actually tried to make attacking moves and even kept dropping deeper to do Lampard's job for him. Good to see that you're using the fact that other players played badly to defend KDB though. Absolute fanboy
  2. I heard them chanting something along the lines of "We'll see you next week"
  3. Well given that he's a better player than Torres, Ba and Lukaku, I respectfully disagree
  4. Easy mistake to make. I certainly didn't mean to cause offence
  5. Did I say we needed Suarez? No. He's definitely good enough to play for Chelsea though.
  6. I wasn't jumping, it was merely an observation.
  7. Between your comments on Moyes earlier and that comment there, I'm struggling to take you seriously
  8. What does he have to do to get a start?
  9. Excellent point well made. at times i forgot he was even on the park
  10. Of course he is going to continue to be inconsistent. It's his first full season in the PL and he's still young. He has been hailed as the next big thing, which he may very well be, but there is far too much pressure being pinned on him to be a game winner every week, which, tonight, proved he is not. He may be a game winner for us some weeks, but he's definitely not as good as some are making him out to be (in fact judging him after 1 game) so yes it's a wake up call to some.
  11. Indeed. Cole should have got a yellow for that. I really hate players that dive, and that includes anyone that does it in a Chelsea top. Very disappointed in Ashley tonight
  12. Point's to be taken here are this game proves that the Willian was much needed. We really missed power and pace down the right hand side tonight. It's looking rather worrying that Mata is continuing to miss out (although I'll put that down to fitness atm) Lukaku MUST start in our next games
  13. Seriously somebody voted for De Bruyne? He was absolutely awful tonight. Every pass he mad found a Man Utd player. He will continue to be inconsistent, but he's definitely a fantastic talent. Certainly doesn't deserve the pedestal he's been put on by some of our fans already. Tonight's game will have been a real wake up call for some people.
  14. Possibly going on loan to Liverpool http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2401907/Victor-Moses-Liverpool-loan-target.html
  15. Seriously, Sky Sports, are we genuinely supposed to understand what that bin dipper Carragher is saying? If you're going to work on TV, at least make sure that you can speak properly
  16. See when someone says leave it, and then the other person then agrees to just end it, surely common courtesy should mean that you don't come along and have one last dig. Plus if you had bothered to read my posts you will see that I already addressed the fact that Wigan had won a trophy. But like I said, research who actually won trophies in Moyes' years at Everton and you'll notice that it isn't exactly a long list of clubs outside the top 6 teams in the league
  17. I'm not looking to cause a personal argument. I'm merely dumbfounded that you genuinely believe that Moyes is a bad manager. If anyone is looking for an argument, then it's you by throwing out comments like "Is Moyes your dad or something?" Seriously if you can't see that Moyes is a good manager then I'll leave it at that.
  18. I think if we were going to do 4-1-4-1 then Jose would have implemented it with the players we already had, so that the team aren't changing system once the season has already started. That, essentially, is what pre-season is for.
  19. Take a look at trophy winners in England in the last 11 years (when Moyes took over) the list is predominantly poulated by the 6 biggest clubs in England (Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Spurs & Liverpool) Only Birmingham, Swansea and Wigan outside those 6 clubs have won domestic trophies in the last 11 years. It's realy not that easy for the smaller clubs in England to win silverware. But like I said, the way he has transformed Everton's fortunes as a whole club proves that he is a very good manager.
  20. You can't seriously say that Moyes hasn't gotten to where he is on merit. He may never have won anything with Everton but given where the were before he got the job, he did a fantatic job in turning the club around on a relatively small budget. He's definitely not in the same league as Jose or SAF, but he is still a very good manager. To say otherwise is just silly.
  21. Probably because Jose sees Willian as a player that will improve our team. Willian fits into his system and philosophy therefore it's an astute signing. I don't see why people are still getting up in arms about us improving our team. Why do you want us to spend £60 million on 1 world class player when we can get 2 for the same price?
  22. That means nothing. Lee Wilkie started his career at Dundee but always supported Dundee United (where he finished his career) My best mate's cousin, Scott Robertson supports Dundee and left them in 2008 to sign for Dundee United. Add into the mix that Michael Owen is a life long Everton fan yet played for Liverpool. Another key point is that although he nearly signed for Spurs and was in talks with Liverpool it was Chelsea that he ended up at
