  1. Boga is much more injury prone though.
  2. They are both really talented but atm i give a slight edge to Boga. Boga plays as the nr 10 most of the time and Musonda on the wings. On the other hand, Boga seems to be much more injury prone judging from last season and this season. Musonda was very vital in both our Youth cup and Playoff final (scoring in both) from last season, Boga was injured then. Musonda also impressed in the Belgium U21's squad. He was the best player on the field when Belgium defeated Spain's U21 1-4 (wich included Munir), receiving a standing ovation from spanish spectators when he was subbed. Anyway, i hope both of them will get great careers even if it isn't at Chelsea.
  3. Team to face Newcastle: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry ©, Azpilicueta; Mikel, Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Diego Costa.
  4. Let's do this, Curious if José is going to rest Oscar though i don't think we can.
  5. Same old, same old... People bitch and moan about Willian since the moment he arrived and so far he's still a starting IX player. KDB and Mata are both alot more prolific than Willian but are they still here? Are they worse players? Not really. But they weren't as influential as Willian for the system we play. Something not alot of Chelsea supporters see, luckily Mourinho does. Salah also came in and has been bad overall. Schürrle has his up and downs but still is a defensive liability and needs our team to play good so he can time his runs. If that doesn't happen he is next to useless. Oscar went missing for 4 months last season when we needed him the most. Hazard arguably cost us a potential CL final when he had hat defensive brainfart against Atletico. A game we we're leading because of a goal that Willian created (ultimately Atletico deserved the win more anyway). This season he's lagging behind Hazard and Oscar in terms of statistics (not by a huge margin like some people think), with also less minutes played. He was arguably our best player against Villa and Schalke (the latter was our best game of the season). He came in as a super-sub against Bolton where he helped us dodge another game that we would've had to play in our already heavily congested fixtures period (an assist that didn't register because of an own goal). The only game i would say this season he was really bad was against City (altough a much needed breaker of City's game-tempo). Anyway, Willian isn't the main problem for me. The big problem is gonna be between now and the end of december. Players are getting tired and will have to be rotated, im not so sure our bench options are up for the challenge (im looking at Salah, Ramires and Schürrle). Our squad is pretty thin in that regard. My main questions are if Oscar is gonna survive this Christmas period. Last season he was also very good around this time. Hazard tends to have his occasional lazy days and same as Willian lacks the killer instinct. Cesc is a player that basicaly had to leave Barcelona for running out of gas at the most critical period of a season. Willian will most likely have to cover both Cesc and Oscar while he started as many games consecutively in recent period. I can already see him beïng the target again when key players like Oscar, Cesc, Matic will be missing at the same time due to them not having the stamina to cope with the congested period. And blaming Willian for not having competition is one of the stupidiest things ive read. Go fill the pages of the players that should be his competition then. The argument from some posters that we have favorites is true, but then don't be hypocritical about it when you do the same thing if a favorite of yours is getting criticized.
  6. It's not that we have better options at our disposal. His contribution in the final third is inconsistent and i would like it more that he had performances like against Villa and Schalke, but on the other hand the team is playing really well and we are pretty fine attacking wise anyway (ignoring the blip that was Sunderland). Our run of marathon games is still going on and it's good we have him here seemingly never getting tired. Tiredness i do notice in players like Oscar, Hazard and Fabregas. Schürrle will mostly likely be rotated in against Newcastle, and having an engine player like Willian in the squad will allow us to rest Oscar/Hazard. For me he definitely improved from last season with his runs and getting into goalscoring positions.
  7. Drogba has been more than fine in his last matches.
  8. http://www.chelseafc.com/content/cfc/en/homepage/videos/chelseatvlive.html Working for me
  9. Really hapy for the lad, there is some obvious improvement from last season. He may have his deficiencies (mainly decision making in the final third), he still gives the team so much in the buildup/link-up + defensive aspects of the game. Reus would be nice ofcourse, but with that comes the uncertainty of a player that will play out of position and is much more injury prone. Willian seemingely is never injured or tired. At this moment he is more than good enough, as long as he gives these types of performances on a consistent basis.
  10. Hazard just isn't a goalscoring machine. Still love him though
  11. Feel so sad for di mateo , thank you for the points though.
  12. Our squad is pretty thin anyway. Aside from Remy who are we missing in our sub list, that can rely on to switch a game around.
  13. Strongest possible line-up, no fucking around tonight. Win this and we can allow key players some rest against Lisbon.
  14. Idd, he already has like what 3 injuries this season? Last season he also missed the end of the Youth season. A fragile player it seems.
  15. As much as i like to see them fail in the league, if they all keep sucking in Europe what does the PL title really mean then? Look at it this way, what if our main rival can't even make it past the group stage in the UCL. It will lessen the achievement of winning the title in England. People will start to think winning the title in England isn't that hard (wich it is), top foreign players will think twice before transferring to England. City failing in the UCL is bad for everyone involved in English football.
  16. Not agreeing on this, I think most fans of english football wouldn't want City to get out so soon. Our league "quality" status is declining and an early City exit won't help. As long as we are not playing each other in the CL i want every english team to advance.
  17. Scored for Belgium U21 against Norway. Pic with Tielemans in the background
  18. It's at shame it is not coming out at Chelsea because only Hazard truly rivals his technical skill. Maybe it's the lack of freedom, low confidence, or whatever. The fact that he's scoring at a higher rate for Brazil is telling. Tbh, direct players are more suited to our game than flair players. Hazard isn't scoring by the loads either.
  19. Here is Zlatan's attempt at an Elastico http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/zlatan-elastico.gif
  20. Willian's goal http://gfycat.com/DifficultFirmFirecrest A better view for the Elastico http://gfycat.com/EqualSinfulIriomotecat Assist for Neymar's goal http://gfycat.com/ShockedCalmEuropeanpolecat Whatever the hell he get's to eat at the national team, they should serve it at Chelsea too!
