No, I'm not thinking that Costa is head and shoulders above Mandzukic. It just I think Costa is the type of striker that will work better in our system, than Mandzukic, therefore it is normal we see Costa playing more if he stays fit and on form, if both of them signed, for me. That's why I think we chase Costa first as our main target, rather than Mandzukic. Mandzukic rumour just came up after Bayern bid for Luiz and we took the chance to include Mandzukic in it. Not that we make an offer and chasing Mandzukic as our primary target. I'm sure, I'm not alone with this. I think you misunderstood something about what I mean 45 games in a season thing. Well, I'm curious why you think that if one striker get 45 games in a season, other will get 15 games at the first place. This is real life, not FIFA nor football manager. It is not Costa playing 45 games x 90 minutes, and therefore other striker only get 15 games x 90 minutes for sure. I don't see it is impossible for Costa starting in 45 games in a season, if he stays fit, and Mandzukic or any other striker come as a sub for Costa in those games, say in around 15 games. Add that with 15 games for Mandzukic or any other striker as a starter, he will get around 30 games. Costa also could come as a sub for Mandzukic or any other striker lets say around 5 games. So in the end we will get Costa (around 50 games), Mandzukic (around 30 games) in a season, very possible if you ask me if Costa stays fit and keep scoring. What's so hard to understand about that? Look at Torres - Eto'o - Ba number of games this season, Torres (41 games), Eto'o (34 games), Demba Ba (29 games). Yes, I agree with you if both do well, and also if Madzukic do well and Costa doesn't. You who asked in the first place which clubs, and I give some list of clubs as example who qualified for CL that might become Mandzukic possible destinations as a first choice striker and also could offer decent money in transfer fee and wage. In 2 striker formation like in City, if one of them injury or out of form and one else stay fit and scoring, you will still get your chance. Dzeko in when Aguero injured, despite one else fit and scoring, and then he is in when Negredo out of form, despite Aguero on fire, hence he has a lot of games in accumulation. Also as a sub, the chance is obviously bigger. In 1 striker formation, you have to wait the main striker injured or out of form, until you get your chance. As a sub the chance is more limited than with 2 striker formation. Agree that they're different type of striker. I think Costa style of play, which more fit in our system.
