  1. Oh dear god people, he's not going on loan. Mourinho isn't retarded.
  2. Hehe, and just 3-4 years ago he stood at the Bridge as a boy, telling everyone the day he'd be playing here was the only day they'd see him cry. If one guy has the heart to get that number 9, it's him. Sometimes I think that if Hazard had the win or die trying mentality of a Lukaku/Kompany, he'd be on par with Ronaldo.
  3. Exactly what you need, another midfielder. Buy ALL the midfielders! :-D
  4. K, this might be an old post, but: You can be 100% positively sure he won't come back as a backup. Not even for one season. What exactly does he need to 'experience'? He's probably the best keeper in Spain already, and by then he'll have 30+ caps plus a possible world cup tournament behind his belt for one of the top teams in Europe. It's Cech or him, you'll have to get rid of one of them.
  5. Still didn't deserve the spot ime. Ah well, we'll see.
  6. I don't think they'll ever sell him to Chelsea, even if he plays zero minutes this season. They would be giving you the premiership on a plate, in their eyes... I'm afraid you're all getting your hopes up.
  7. So basically, reading some of the comments, you went from the best team in the world to the worst in a matter of hours. Drama drama drama. You shouldn't panic over a friendly. Sure, Madrid started their best squad and won. It wasn't a friendly for them, they only wanted to beat Mourinho. Tell me, when is the last time they won a cup in Europe? 2002 if I'm right. They went through all these top players and millions of pounds for 4 titles and one national cup in 12 years. You know why? Because once the Zidane generation left, they've had no heart. It's an ego team. There's no synergy. The difference between Ronaldo and Messi is that Messi makes everyone better and Ronaldo makes Ronaldo better. You on the other hand, won two European cups in two years. But hey, throw those away, cause they beat you in a friendly...
  8. Efficiency is by far Kevin's best quality. Just look at that video. It's all so simple.
  9. I'd wait with the "they lost so much quality" until the transfer window closes. They (almost) bought 2 Serbian internationals, there's an insanely talented youth product forcing his way in the starting eleven (Youri Thielemans: remember that name, Chelsea) and they're in the running for Liverpool's Assaidi. if they get Demy De Zeeuw and Anthony Vanden Borre to regain their former form, they'll actually be stronger than last year ime. So it would have been a better move for Thorgan, but I don't know he'd be a regular starter...
  10. Do not underestimate his mental stability because he's young. He had a shit year two seasons ago, at barely 18. He got through it by taking a step back, staying humble and working incredibly hard. The guy can handle disappointment. If you hear him talk during interviews, does he talk like a boy or a man, honestly? He'll handle the pressure. He might not score 20 goals in his first real Chelsea season, and he might miss some easy chances, but it won't destroy him. Quite sure of that.
  11. Yes, it will be very interesting to see how he'll make the jump from being the shining star in an otherwise shitty team (Bremen) to a squad like Chelsea. Very comparable situation to Lukaku (whose team was better, yes).
  12. Seriously, please watch some videos of both players and then convince me of the similarities in playing style.
  13. Seriously, nobody ever called him that. Have you ever seen Cruyff play? Completely different styles.
  14. Berrier is still there and he will probably start. Malanda might be a huge talent but he will destroy his career like this... In my opinion, the only way they can beat PSV is if they get underestimated. They might be well adapted to the Belgian league, but they never played a team that's 4 levels ahead of them. This match, they might have a small chance of success, but as soon as they'll start playing regular CL-teams, you'll see 5-0, 6-0, 8-1 scores popping up. It's btw clear that Thorgan is much, much more talented than the rest of the squad, but I'm wondering if going to Chelsea was the right choice for him. He has the right mentallity but he might be just under the level you guys require. Plus, how's he ever gonna manage to get a starting spot in the midfield you have now...
