  1. Di Maria was one of Real's best players, just as Ozil was the year before (yes, none of you like to hear about that one, but it's true). Selling these two pissed Ronaldo the fuck off, since they were his main men. The real saddest fact in all of this btw is that, if Di Maria hadn't looked like an anorectic troll, he'd still be playing at Real. They're actually buying pretty boys that sell shirts. If they can choose between a fuck-ugly player and a pretty one that is slightly less in quality, they will always go for the second option.
  2. So Man Utd is just going to bankrupt itself now? 500.000 a week I hear...
  3. Well, Xavi and Iniesta are somewhat older than Hazard, so duh, they will have more titles playing for probably the best team of all time (Barca 2008-2012). But talking about numbers: Hazard already won a French Title/Cup, a UEFA Cup and several individual honors at 23. He's been into double figures (League + Europe) since 2009, scoring 10, 12, 22, 13 and 17 goals. I have no info on the number of assists. Some of you guys act like he never scores a goal... Robben never went into double figures for Chelsea, only for Bayern. Ribery does not score much more than Hazard, neither does Muller for Bayern. Also, how many more assists would Eden have had if Torres didn't blow half the perfect passes he gave him. I can remember at least three clearly from last season.
  4. Buh, Zidane didn't score 20 goals per season and he's considered one of the best and most defining players ever. He got an awful shit-ass France into the WC final in 2006 and got them two titles before that. Now, because we have Ronaldo and Messi in their prime, with the two best teams in the world playing for them, we see these two getting insane stats that have changed the level we rate players on. This doesn't mean you can't become a legend without being top scorer every season. Hazard just needs to keep playing his game and be important to the team.
  5. Hehe, yes indeed. It's just a friendly. Thorgan would probably still have gotten the call if we already had to play the qualifier against Israel. No way Jordan would have been called-up then.
  6. You're in a state of major disappointment desperately trying to maintain your semi?
  7. Reading this page was hilarious. Now let's see what happens if he scores 20 for them just in the league. :-D
  8. Never heard of him before, but damn: greatest name ever!
  9. If he makes it in Germany this year, he should get to prove himself in the Chelsea squad next year. Although competition will be very, very hard.
  10. Why not 20? (I know the quote is not from you, but I don't know how to quote the article itself )
  11. Surely he will start most of the games this year? The only player I could see being replaced in this starting eleven might be Oscar if he doesn't improve. The question is, by who?
  12. Can't see the match. Could he have done better with the goal?
  13. Where? In Football Manager? He was just about getting recognition outside the Czech Republic and France at that time. Courtois has a Spanish Title, Cup and two European Finals under his belt. Do you realize how insane it is they won the league competing with Barca and Real? I'm not saying Cech wasn't as good. He might have been even better, who knows? But saying he was "miles better" is an emotional statement you could never prove.
  14. Didn't see the match, just the clip.
  15. Who's this guy then? Didn't realise it wasn't him...
  16. Too bad he's not going to Ajax because of his wages. Would be a great end of his career at such an iconic club. Packed stadion every match, an actual chance of doing something in the CL... Ah well...
